hey Chris, I’m a Stage 4 cancer survivor and a father to a 4 year old daughter. I just want to say, you inspired me with your strength and determination through all your success. Your videos brought me to the gym to workout with the mentality to overcome all adversity. Wishing you and your family nothing but the best in all that you do.
@@elien902 If you do the exercise right then you will work only the Rear Delts which are smalls muscles. However, if you use heavier weights than those you can hold horizontally with only activating your Delts then the Traps will join in to help out taking a significant stress off the Delts. Thus neither the Delts nor the Traps will grow.
Am i the only one who loves the sound of the fans humming away in the background? Dunno why i find that so soothing. Gyms in summertime, absolutely love it.
@@sscssc908 Congrats man, depends where you live in the world. I have 2 commercial size fans in my warehouse (230 sqm) and most summers only get to an average of 30 degrees celsius (86 fahrenheit). If you experience a lot of humidity it could be worthwhile investing in air conditioning instead
Chris’s trainer is a hypertrophy wizard/genius! Seeing an Olympian getting that much out of less weight, just shows how good this guy is. Love Chris’s humility in it all as well. 💪🏼🙏🏻🇺🇸🥩
I love how most Pro Bodybuilders now like Vissers and Bumstead are doing the slow controlled eccentrics training since it has more science backed evidence now compared to before. You can scroll to their old videos and see the difference in training styles.
I will never know what it's like to have a world class champion physique like Chris. But what I do KNOW is what it's like to work out in a garage in Florida with a big ass fan blowing hot humid air at you while you sweat your ass off. Go champ!
Charles Poliquin would be proud. Justin's knowledge about this stuff is amazing, and you get the benefit of Poliquin's wisdom through Justin. great vid Chris.
I had similar shoulder pain. I saw 2 PT and 1 doctor. TLDR: Where my longhead is attached to the shoulder was inflamed. I took some meds and time-offs and it got better. Long story: Both PTs showed me some moves and rehabs which reduced the pain but as soon as I press heavy it hurts. Or even when I wash my back in the shower and taking off my shirt, similar to what Chris goes through in 1:55. I went to the doctor and saw the inflammation. Meds was probably what cured my pain and stiffness (because water accumulates when inflamed). But I'm also improving my form when lifting heavy and doing some of the rehabs as often as possible.
Having shoulder pain and not even addressing the root cause and going into an Arnold press which creates more of an aggravation to the shoulder via the rotational mechanics under significant load is foolish In particular at this level
Love to know the stretches you are doing at the beginning. What are you trying to accomplish, and you were pushing through hard, what is the goal, when and where are you pushing?
14:01 This is why watching professional bodybuilders train is crucial to growing this is information you will never figure out or you will but it’ll take you 9 years😂 to
if it is shoulder bursitis , after a year i worked out it was caused by the standing calf raise machine. the sheer weight on the shoulder compressed the protective sacks.
I would like to see you be trained for a session on the RP UA-cam channel. they love deep this type of training. I would imagine it would be after the O for obvious reasons.
bro I Follow you from morocco and I have a back condition and when I watch videos I miss the gym. What is your advice? Should I take a week off or less?
💪Check out my training on the new app!: www.stndrd.app/

"Heavy 5 Pound Dumbbells". Zero ego here. I love CBum.
Facts
Never tried this exercice, is it really that hard that cbum has to use 5pd dumbells or are his rear delts just fried from the face pulls ?

Dude's living the dream. Badass gym, badass car, jacked, a nice home, and a family🤘👍👍 Good things for a seemingly good human🫡
Bro knows what he’s talking about for sure. Cold plunge definitely limits hypertrophy so shout out to him for saying to space it out

hey can I ask I am opening a gym in a garage should I get these 2 fans or should I get air conditioners
