Collection of all the promotional material I managed to find for the third entry (of sorts) in the Halloween franchise, Halloween III: Season Of The Witch.
Like some people, I find this movie quite underrated and feel it got an unfair blasting from critics simply because John Carpenter intended to take the franchise in a different direction after Halloween II. It's got great atmosphere, phenomenal kills, and one of the unsung icons of horror films, Conal Cochran, played by the late great Dan O'Herlihy. His speech to Tom Atkins' character regarding the roots of Halloween and the festival of Samhain gives me chills every time I watch it. Fantastic performance.

Halloween III: Season of The Witch is very underrated, very good standalone horror sequel!
Wish they would have kept going with this Halloween anthology!
Given recent news of the reboot TV show, I WISH they had revisited this idea.
Even though I love the HALLOWEEN films, with H20, H4 and the original being my favorites, I sometimes wonder what other stories they could’ve/would've told if they went the anthology route.
Halloween is one of the best horror franchises and john carpenter is one of the biggest geniuses in Hollywood imo.
I am wondering with Miramax acquiring the rights and with their presumed attempt at a Halloween cinematic universe (lord knows if that will be good or bad), if revisiting this movie or the anthology format might come into play.
This is pretty much the only Halloween movie that doesn’t have Michael Myers in it. Well, kinda.. he does show up in a commercial for the first movie, in the movie but aside from that he’s not involved in the story at all. So, it’s technically the first Halloween movie without Michael Myers involved.
They did not want to continue with Michael Myers so this would have been the first Halloween anthology.
it's kind a sad that there aren't any anime trailers and tv spots for the their movies there are rarely some of them like for Pokemon the first movie and tenchi the movie tenchi muyo in love i wish some youtuber who could make other anime movie trailers and TV spots if most won't get a copyright strike for each on youtube or they can put them on the nternet archive or on their vimeo account
I might do some of them for my archive.org account eventually, but yes, after the Spirited Away debacle and one channel strike later, I'm not doing them for UA-cam anymore.
Not gonna lie but when I first saw clips of this movie? I always thought it was odd that this didn't involve Micheal Myers in it but I don't have much complaints about it either because imo I thought the designs of those masks in this movie look pretty cool tho' lol.

I’m upset that Michael Myers is absent in this movie.
So were people in the 80's. But I think this movie deserves to be judged on its own merits nowadays and not with its attachment to the franchise. I automatically roll my eyes at folks who still unironically say "this movie didn't have Michael Myers in it therefore it automatically sucks" because years later, it's incredibly poor criticism.
My favorite of all the Halloween series. Yeah. I dont like the Michael Myers
Calling it Halloween III even though it had absolutely nothing to do with the original movie. Now that seems intentionally misleading
