It isn't just that it breaks immersion for the single riders, it also breaks immersion for the people going through the normal queue who see the single riders and the exit door they came from off to their left.
All y’all acting like this is the first attraction to ever have a single rider line bypass the preshow 😅. Legit Smuggler’s Run also bypasses the preshow, yet the second Rise does it, you act like they remove the preshow entirely. Go through LL or standby first time around then SR after that.
It’s by no means the first attraction but it’s definitely a ride where the pre show feels extremely crucial to the experience going in blind so it’s the one ride I would hesitate to bring a friend through Singles if they’ve never done it before versus other rides the show is very skippable
@@Zenstrummer Again, as someone who works on Rise at DHS, I would discourage you from bringing anyone on Rise through the Singles line as a first experience. In the same way that you should go through the normal line for Smugglers Run before doing the Singles. After they’ve done RotR once, some people only have interest in doing the main attraction. I have many people ask if they can skip the pre-show and just ride the actual attraction.
@@Zenstrummer You didn’t. I apologize if I led you to believe I was saying that. I simply was agreeing with how you mentioned that you wouldn’t bring someone through the single rider line as their first experience of the attraction. I think we can both agree that it’s unwise on any ride/attraction to go through the single rider line on your first ride. That’s legitimately the point of single rider at any experience. It’s a quicker, lesser experience than other lines. Personally, if I was making the policies, I wouldn’t allow anyone into the Single Rider line if it’s their first time riding. Not as to limit them, but since they are missing so much of the experience.
Not a huge fan of how this is run. You could easily fill those people on the ship rather than have them go backstage and break the theme. To me it’s odd.

Missing the Preshow? Not happening on my watch!

Yea but the normal queue can see where the single riders come from while they’re experiencing the pre show but on smugglers you don’t have that
So it appears you miss the pre show. That’s a shame
Unlike Lightning Lane passes from other attractions.

I think I’ll pass on this one
you are taking away from the magic of the ride. DO NOT DO THIS!!!!
