    I am also working on a Joy Sunday project and it's far easier as I thought it was. The colours on the canvas can be distracting, but after a while you get used to it. And I also became addictive and more orders are on the way.... 👍 thanks for showing US how you stitch, it's always nice to see different ways 👍

    I inadvertantly followed stitchinwithlora6 ugh! Thanks for your clarification, I unfollowed and blocked it. I thought it odd after following stitchinwithlora, but thought it was some sort of extention of the original! I am so bad with all this technology LOL! Thanks again. Good to see you taking out some of your older purchases and giving them a go! Happy stitchin!

    Joy Sunday is new to me. It looks like a good thing for car travel, and has no counting. I'll be checking them out.

    Another great video... I scrunch up the fabric to loosen up the fabric. Also mention that each stitch must be going in the same direction. This gives the picture a very cohesive look to it. Also I wash mine in very hot water with a bit a soap or shampoo...it sits in the hot water for about 2 hours, agitating it on occasion. I then rinse in lukewarm water stretching it lightly...hang to dry. I put beads in at the very end before I wash it...very informative...love that Molly girl...

    Thanks for doing this video. My hands get crampy so I have to use a frame with mine. Usually the key ends up out of sight so I use the printed one for reference. If I'm I working on the larger project, put it on my magnetic board and use the magnet strips like line keepers to stay in the general area of stitching. I have a sheet music stand to hold the board on and it works well. I was also looking at this kit today. :)

      Your welcome. Sounds like you have a great way of doing yours, that works for you. Yes, my hands get crampy working on them as well but couldn't use the scroll or Q-snap either. I will just have to work on them little by little. Stay safe and keep stitchin'.

    BTW, I am stitching a bird ornament. I picked a part of my "Christmas Tree with Birds" project to do.

    Thanks for putting this up. I’ve got a few Joy Sunday I plan on working on through out the up coming year. They aren’t big but seem great for those times when I’m too stressed to count lol
    Great tips. Thank you. Hope we get to see more of this as you continue to work on it.

    Hi. Do you have two accounts. The one with number on it could be deleted. Very weird cause they both show same pictures. One that has a 6 after your name. Love that cross stitch kit. I really like the quality.

    Hey I'm still very new to this and have NOT started one single project. My question to U is how do I know which stitches to use across all of those symbols? example:1/2stitch1/4stitch and so on..I have too many not to be working on something. Thanks a bunch!

    • @StitchingWithLora
      @StitchingWithLora  4 роки тому +1

      Very good question. First off your kit should include a printed booklet like you see me have in this video. Inside yours it may be in partial chinese or another language. Including English. It should give you different symbols for regular or Full cross stitch. Then perhaps another set of symbols for the other different stitches like, half cross stitch, french knots or back stitch. Also, on your actual canvas it will list the symbols in seperate catagories like a list for full cross stitch, then another for back stitches or french knots or half stitches. Just take it slow. Start in one corner or another. One stitch at a time. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for watching. Stay safe. And get stitchin.

    I got rid of stitchinwithlora6 also. I have that happen to other Instagram people too. Stupid hackers, really? Try to hook up with people who are just trying to share their crafting videos. 24/26 not a big difference, but it could be, lol!
    Gotta tell you guys a non stitch story it is just cute. My grand daughter I pick up from school today and she says “last night I went out to do chores and their was only one egg so I stuck it in my pocket while I did my other chores then today in school I stick my hand in my pocket and thought oh no the egg and it had cracked so I ran in the bathroom and flushed it down the toilet,” that hit me so funny I ask her why not just the trash and she says well grandma that would stink. Lol Right what was I thinking, At a time when I have been so down in the dumps live it to a kid to make you laugh. I hope you all enjoyed my little story. Good informative video. I have 2 Joy Sunday and haven’t started either one so this is so helpful. Thx.

      I know. Geeze they must be more borde than me. lol Loved your story about your Grand Daughter. At first I though you were going to say that it hatched in her pocket. lol. They are so quick minded these days aren't they. Sometimes I think they have been home with all of us for too long as well. Glad you liked the video. Stay safe and keep stitchin'.
