I made a post here that has vanished somehow. You can get a light controller for Novolux lights that has a dimmer and the Helialux lights from Juwel also fit this tank.
@@FishPieTV I use the controller on my Primo 110 and it makes a great difference to the fish a light gradually ramping up than one that switches on at full power.
It’s a shame the MultiLux is just an on off system, the ramp up and evening light settings is why I grabbed a fluval aquasky. I’ve got the helialux (older model) on the Rio, that’s a great light. The new one with controller is $$$
I think I may be wrong, but the perhaps purpose of the slow flowing section at the bottom is to allow for some denitrifying bacteria in low oxygen areas to grow to reduce nitrates levels 🤔
I have now watched a few of your videos and realise we have similar thoughts on tanks. I currently have an Aquaverse 65 which I'm looking to upgrade and I am considering the Juwel Lido 120; mainly due to the limited space I have available. One thing which has bothered me about this tank is the Multilux lighting unit and as you say it doesn't appear to come with a gradual sunrise / sunset function or an additional Multilux controller to enable this feature. I retrofitted an Aquasky to my Aquaverse 65 using the T8 adaptors in the Aquasky kit. Just wondering if the T8 adaptor kit would allow the Aquasky to be retrofitted on Multilux unit on the Juwel Lido 120? I'd need two if course! Thanks
The filter is great imo BUT to remove floaters ive always had to upgrade the pump to the next level above it then it works so well and its all so clean and modular (dont block the hole that you did lol). All i think it needs is a sliding cover over the grates, as alot of muck can come out of it when you remove media.
Hello I close the upper hole with a sponge because it is not easy to remove the filter. But I still ,after one month running ,don’t have crystal clear water. A lot of dust moving in the water. Do you finally succeed clear water? I am thinking of a new filter maybe external ?
Hey FishPie, i managed to get my hands on a secondhand lido120. I've been told this tank isn't the best for a Betta fish and would really like your advice on if this is something to be concerned about or if i can continue with my plan.
It’s a big tank for a betta but I don’t see why you can’t use it, I’d say go for it ! You might want to put some plants / wood up high for interaction because they tend to be in shallow waters in their natural environment
The Roma is 20cm wider, I’d say if you can fit it in then go wider rather than deeper, gives more of a stream look rather than a deep scape. That does all depend on your plans and space though !

I saw it in my dashboard but every time I went to it, it said it couldn’t be found. Thanks for the great tip !

Hi comes with the filter and C02?
Great review, lovely design. Torn between this or the Fluval Roma 125 in white!?! 😩😃

Boring
I mean it’s a video about a Fishtank, did you want some explosions?
@@FishPieTV he must of thought you were going to re-create the first 20 minutes of saving private ryan in a 2 foot tank😀
