Moorea, an island in French Polynesia is truly one of the South Pacific’s best kept hidden gems. This glorious paradise offers everything travelers like my wife and I look for-panoramic mountain views, hiking trails leading to breathtaking island views, white sandy beaches, calm and shallow turquoise waters, picturesque bays, and a variety of activities that will surely keep you in awe. During this trip, we were able to experience plenty of activities-from circling the island waters on a jet ski, swimming with humpback whales, sharks and stingrays, boating, snorkeling, ATV tour around mountains and plantations, parasailing, and the unique experience that the Tiki Village had to offer. This may be very bold for us to say, but Moorea, you are, by far, the most beautiful place we've been to in this wonderful world.

I've been to the Greek Islands-Santorini , Bali , Bahama's , Cancun , Boracay Island(Philippines) BUT the most unbelievable water in the world is in the South Pacific. Spent 2 weeks on Moorea - Wow. You have to see , feel and experience the Islands of Tahiti to know how wonderful it is.

Amazing video, well done. Was in Moorea with my wife in early September and we stayed at the Moorea Sunset Beach condo's. Best deal in Moorea for accommodations and got a 3 day SUV rental from Avis Pacific Car. Brings back memories. The sunsets on the pier were amazing. Went to Huahine and Bora Bora afterwards. Would like to go back again one day to Moorea if we can afford it.

Haha thank you for the idea, I love the original On and On song but I didn't know about the remix till I watch your video. Actually, my initial song was Illenium Reverie but it was copyrighted so I had to change my song. I will be posting it too because I put in about 1-2 weeks of editing.
You guys keep on living a good life :) Swimming with the whales must've been awesome. I like the video, it's well done with a lot of awesome shots. I didn't like the feeding of the sharks and rays. But nonetheless great video. French Polynesia is on my list :D Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks buddy. It was really exciting swimming with the whales. The whales was actually heading straight to me but I had to move to the side to respect them and also per guides instruction. Sorry you feel that way. They have been feeding them for decades and is part of their blooming tourist. The stingray are so used to people and will go really close to you while the shark usually keeps their distance.
Man, if a whale would swim straight towards me... :D Incredible.
I know the feeding is getting a common practice, but I'm just not a fan of it. It has not to, but it may affect the behavior of those animals. I walked by a feeding on the Maldives, the sharks and seemed to be really aggressive and they were all over each other. Rays inbetween and half out of the water. Looked like a war down there. That's why I'm not a fan. Luckily it looked way more chilled in your video.

Thanks Jordan. We fell in love with French Polynesia after our honeymoon. They have so many island and we might go back there again. Also it is just 8 hour nonstop flight from SF. Would really recommend it if you have any destinations that you wanted to go.

love this video, a place I definitely love to visit.great editing and colour aswell.curious what you would recommend for family with kids gopro or a good camera(fuji x-t2) .im always back and forth on gopros as they don't always offer the best photos and videos they do alright but im sure theres better options.. I own a fuji x-t2 it takes amazing photos but lugging it around on a trip with kids is tricky,, love to hear your opinion.for video how often do you use gopro?any tips or suggestions let me know.hope to hear back,,all the best,cheers,Adam
Thanks for watching Adam. Go pro is actually pretty good or you can also go with Osmo Pocket which is very small and it is not fish eye. We have a different camera for pictures because as you said go pro doesn't take good pictures. Good luck on your trip!

great video..what gopro settings did you use on this?did you do lots of colour correcting in a editing program?...what a great place and some amazing shots...nice work
Thank you for watching! I use protune settings. Iso max 400, auto shutterspeed, sharpness low, I also use a polarizer. I usually record flat so it needs a lot of color correctiong.
@@JJAdventures Thanks for the tips i use 100 and 400 iso with hypersmooth stabilization, but I use gopro colour and do little colour grading but mostly fixing exposure.though i know you can really make better videos shooting flatt and colour grading like your video.what polarizer do you use i think it would help for these types of vacations and filming..thanks for your tip. here is our latest video from kauai using gopro hero 7,vimeo.com/301388298

how u record video underwater ?
We use go pro, they are waterproof.
for focusing the MP2 do you just put in manual and set it to infinity?
I usually click focus every time I'm recording just to make sure that it is focused, I guess that is the manual setting?
JJ Adventures I think that’s the tap to focus which isn’t the same
Joe Gowac yeah, i think i am just doing the manual where I always need to press the focus button. I’ll look into that setting where it is set to infinity, maybe it will be easier.

Around 4-5k is enough if you're just staying at airbnb and cooking. Higher if you're staying in a hotel. You can also do both so you can save and experience both.

Guys; I have a question, You do a lot of drone work on your vacations. Are you getting permits for each place you go to?? Cheers Bill
If it is required we do. I do have a drone insurance. I fly carefully, I follow the drone laws, and I always fly away from people.
@@JJAdventures Drone insurance doesnt give you a permit, you need an import lisence to take a drone into French Polynesia

@@JJAdventures Thanks John. I also have the zhiyuncrane1 v2 . However in japan it went screwy on me ! I was thinking of upgrading . I see the Zhyiun is coming out with the Weebil and the crane V3 this month. I also see a lot of good comments on the Ronin S . Don't know what to pick tho :(
