I'll try to post as many good old Game music as possible. - Ігри
8:12 You deserve a lot of recognition for your work here. That part of the game had unacceptable music. Four descending notes on loop, not remotely worthy compared to the other music. You added variations and made it a song instead of a riff. I love everything you've done here.
People talk about Mega Man and Castlevania, and they're not wrong, but some of these from Rygar are the very best tracks the NES ever had. Thanks for all your work!
Totally agree! Music from Rygar is as good as the other big franchises, and very underrated!
Agreed 100%
Yes, that's actually what it sounded like in my head when I was playing Rygar as a kid! This soundtrack is a real forgotten GEM. I'm currently learning to play some parts on the piano, but unfortunately sheets are nowhere to be found. Thank you for this extraordinary work!
I'm curious to hear what they would sound like on piano
Thank you for this magnificent remake of one of the all tIME great NES GAMES OF THE GEN Xers!!! Love the OST TOO!! But great composition!!!
One of the few Nintendo games I remember because my brother played it way beyond the expiration date and he got me hooked on it. I love this music!
omg this game has some really GOOD music.
This is majestic! I wish Rygar will be revived someday as a modern game with this orchestral soundtrack!👏👏👏
I would love for someone to use these tracks in a remake:)
Check out Rygar Remake called Vengeance
@@curcumin417 actually I heard about this one. It was released long ago. I want to see this series revived on modern platforms
Best NES game. Massively underrated.
Brilliant work as usual.
This game has an amazing soundtrack.
Sagila’s Cave in particular is one of the best tracks of the 8 bit era.
My personnal favorite from that game:)
This is certainly the best version of one of the greatest NES soundtracks. Absolutely epic 😍
Thanks a lot! I agree that this soundtrack is very awesome and underrated!
I requested Rygar when you did Castlevania. Bravo! Thanks for putting this together, and excellent work. Really enjoyed it.
I could not ignore this game, the soundtrack was memorable!
TAITO>Tecmo>Capcom>Konami as far as VG music Composers and groups
Oh my god, bless you.
Thanks a lot:)
:36 pure awesomeness.
Thanks a lot:)
Thank you 🙏
I've been waiting since childhood for people to upgrade my tunes to what I was playing in my head while hearing this as a kid.
excelent arrangment! great job!
sagila's cave and grand mountain themes are awesome!
Rygar was my favorite NES game when I was a kid, this is incredible, great composition!
Thanks this is amazing. A rush of great times being lost in this game. Outstanding work!
I enjoyed this, thank you. That field theme is so good. Feels like it should be dropped into Black Desert.
Thank you very much! :)
I actually feel anxiety watching that player try to get on the ropes successfully. Even when I had it down I lost so many lives with that little mechanic.
I also have to say, with auch an epic game, I always thought the ending was a letdown. I feel like making a game have a truly amazing ending would have been in the best interest of developers because word would have spread.
And absolutely AMAZING work!
Yeah the ending was a bit boring, but it didn't really matter because the game was so good:)
This game was great but such a grind to level up. Can't say I want to relive that actual experience, so the 18 minute highlight reel with upgraded soundtrack is definitely my preferred way of revisiting Rygar. Thank you for your hard work.
Gods almighty! It won't get better than this symphonic interpretation!
Man, I remember this game when I played it at my uncle's place with my cousins. We take turns per level/death. Always funny to die on boss and the body bounces up and down and then that death music....
Ahahh I'll have to try that! The death music is the only one I didn't include in this vid:)
Wow! This is incredible. Everything is so thick and robust. All from 1986 NES chiptune compositions. Really, really epic stuff here. For example, 6:00 is just a simple repeating chord progression but the variation and instrumentation made it really epic. Well done. This track could be plugged into an Avengers soundtrack easy.
Totally Agree, the basis is very simple, standard chord prog. but there's something about the notes chosen to be on top that gives it a particular flavor:) Thanks for the comment:)

Thats perfect work!! Congratulations!
🔥
Please consider do the same with the japanese version of this game (Argos No Senshi). MANY excellent music tracks were removed or replaced in the North American game.
I will take a look at it, I didn't know there were other music tracks, I'm.
definitely curious about it.
I know the opening stage is different, but I don't recall any other tracks. It's been a while since I played the famicom version.
Awesome!
I love this so much!
Awesome, thanks. :)
I'm still impressed at the fact you could make Dorago's theme sound good when the original sounded terrible.
Probably the worst videogame tune ever made ahahah
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 I'd say Giegue's Cry is worse (another example of a horrendous theme from a great game!), but you have a point, it was pretty bad
Well done!
This is incredible ❤❤❤
🌟🌟🌟I subscribed to the channel years ago when I came across the Rygar video. Megaman1, Rygar, Little Ninja Brothers and Duck Tales 2 are my favorite games-melodies from nes. It's funny that at first there was a tribute to Megaman and now to Rygar. You never cease to amaze me with your work, thanks!!🌟🌟🌟
p.s
- The best moment on 6:35. I always get goosebumps on this transition

Alien 3. 😃
Tremendous . It's really great work. Many congratulations to you and thank you 🙏
Thank you! Glad you guys enjoy it!:)
Amazing.
Thanks a lot!:)
Wow! Amazing job! Blessing ✌️
Thanks a lot!:)
Amazing
Thanks a lot:)
Oh man! Old memories unlocked
Yeah, pure nostalgia:)
Dude. How have you not released the other Silius tracks you did?! They are some of your best work!!
Rygar had some really good music for a relatively early NES game. But you seem to have taken what was good about it and made it sound even better. Nice work.
Thanks, the music was very good indeed and memorable, even after all those years, I remembered every single track:)
WOW this sounds AMAZING‼️ the music was made to be orchestral😎👍🏽
Hey, this sound amazing. I just finished porting Rygar to the SNES, and would love to use these tracks for an MSU-1 version (with credit, of course).
Sure!! I would love to see the result!!
I remember reaching the final lion-headed boss, only to be frustrated numerous times at defeat. Then somehow I learned in order to defeat him you needed to build up your stats.. sort of like an rpg game without the save function.
Yeah, for this playthrough I spent a lot of time at the begining of the game to build up,( not included in the video lol ) that's why it all looks so easy
4:24 actual voice reveal!!!
Best 👍👍
Thanks a lot:)
This is really good! Thanks! I wish you'd included the entire Endora God loop and not cut it off; same with Deja Vu.
This only to give a preview of what the game would sound like:) The complete loops are on my patreon page. Some scenes from that video would have been too long with the full loops.
Also more of your guardian legend? Get your incredible talent out there man!!
I will add some guardian legend, this is such an underated soundtrack.
This is good, but should've let the songs at least loop once before moving onto the next one. I guess we can hear them individually......
dope!

The sound of 'revelation' 😊
The bass clef is totally missing. The low end is where the strength of this soundtrack lies. Very disappointing.
Well, thanks for the feedback, I'm sure other people have made similar covers that you will find a lot better on youtube! Not everyone have the same taste, luckily:)
@@vgmusicrevisited8668 glad you took the critique in stride. It wasn't meant to be mean. The rock covers I've seen suit me better as they tend to emphasize the low end.
I love Rygar very much. When I was in high school, I would drive 90 minutes every weekend to the only gas station in my state that had the arcade machine.
@@fruitiusmaximus925 I haven't tried the arcade version yet! I Think I could probably find it with an emulator or something. I think it didn't have the " non linear/ metroidvania" aspect like the NES version, which I loved:)
I wouldn't say that the bass clef isn't missing. There is a decent amount of low-frequency instrumentation. I'm listening to this on some Sennheiser headphones right now and I hear plenty of low brass and timpani. 5:26 is noticeably richer in the low end. I think you're right in that the low-end instruments could use more presence and it's actually the mid-low stuff that seems "hollow." The high brass and strings dominate almost all of the pieces. I would love to hear more powerful and accented contrabass/cello.
@@JodyBruchon more bassoon/contrabassoon for me.
