John Glenn was a true hero, taking a risk being the first orbiting American astronaut , then going up again at 77 . A truly great man.

The Saturn 5 was designed for Mars not just the moon. However our gov didn’t want us pushing to fast so they cancelled Mars and built the space shuttle so we would slow down a bit. No need go faster.

Michael Freedman executive produced from Houston the CBS Radio News Special Report that simulcast this interview with Walter Cronkite and John H. Glenn aboard the STS-95 space shuttle Discovery in Earth orbit on 4 November 1998. This was the final CNSR Walter Cronkite did for CBS Radio News.

That "child" is about to give NASA it's biggest budget in over a decade. You watch. He's also pushing for getting the USA back in the manned spaceflight business, hence the authorization act he signed. He supports NASA far more than most recent Presidents have.
You may not like his personality, you may not like his policies, but show a little respect for the Presidency.

@@KFieLdGaming Trump is anti-science, he gave NASA a budget because some policy wonk told him it would be good for his image. It amazes me how easily you zombies are fooled.
