Tengri is an amazing singer. His song Heaven is so beautiful. Swan Goose or Geese has a deep meaning.
I love Dimash and Tengri singing both swan goose. Why because its extraordinary music with traditional instruments and different sounds, the voices that all matched and completed together with different languages Kazakh, (Dimash’s first part was in his native language and last part in Chinese (Mandarin) and Mongolian by Tengri and throat singing by the band. So many music colours, you can feel the emotion and culture👍

By the way: Swan Goose is a traditional song of Mongol/Kazakh (I'm simplifying it) minority in China - hence Dimash and Tengri singing it together both touch their roots. But then the modern shines on the background of the tradition - and the tradition shines on the background of the modern.
Tengri's technique (power, immediate attack, changing notes, etc., without the involvement of your face or throat, using only soft palate) is central for the proper operatic technique - so we can see here also another old-new link: the same technique in its traditional and operatic use.
Dimash appreciates Tengri, who approves of him. The song and the technique will live on.
Many of Dimashs duets are absolutely phenomenal, to say the least. Unexpected and thrilling.

Dimash is a master doing that thing of mixing different styles of folk, traditional music and bring them to the modernity contemporary rhythms.
PS: The first phrases he sang were in Kazakh, then at the end he san in Chinese.
This performance was in 2018. Dimash was invited for to sing with Mr. Tengri's (64). His voice is a diphonic voice (both vocal cords at the same time) as the Mongols sang, Mongolian throats singer. Mr Tengri voice is powerful and beauty. The musical instruments are ancestral and beautiful. At first Tengri was singing in mandarin and Dimash in Kazakh. Tengri then sang in Mongolian while Dimash sang in mandarin. The harmony of the voices is amazing, beautiful and difference placement of consonants and vowels sounds. Opositen voices but beautiful too! ....abrazo mexicano!.....❤️🇲🇽❤️🇰🇿❤️

Прекрасный дуэт! Популярный в Китае певец Тенгер, которого ласково называют Тенгри - этнический монгол из Внутренней Монголии. Его имя переводится как "небо", "небесный". Песня "Хун галуу", что означает "Гуси-лебеди", очень популярна в Монголии. Музыкальный инструмент, на котором в самом начале видео играют музыканты - это "Морин хуур", самобытный монгольский музыкальный инструмент, широко известный не только в Монголии, но и в других странах Азии.
В дуэте Димаш первый куплет поёт на родном казахском языке, а второй куплет уже на китайском. Вместе с Тенгри у них получилось исполнить эту песню очень красиво, а благодаря Димашу и его уникальному голосу, песня заиграла новыми красками и приобрела совсем другое звучание.
Tengri was on the Singer competition the year after Dimash where he guested with the Hello song - listen to his song on there called Heaven - and they collaborated on this song soon afterwards

They are beloved, for decades of consistent, unpublicized family and individual acts of charity.

To watch performances like this makes it easier to understand why Dimash is such a unique and versatile artist. He got such a wide musical background, so diverse musical experiences, he takes on new challenges that gives him such a solid foundation for experimenting even more. Kazakh folk, chinese traditional, pop, jazz, operatic, rap - melt it all together and add exceprional vocal technique and stage precense and you have Dimash - easy!
See Tengri's performance of "Heaven" on Singer 2018. His control of dynamics on that song is stunning. If you Google it under "Heaven" by Tengger, the video with Jessie J's amazed face in the thumbnail has English subs. (That was her face when they started doing polyphonic overtone singing in the intro.) If you go back and look at Dimash's guest performance of "Hello" on Singer 2018, you'll recognize Tengri watching from backstage. That's where they met.

Tengri is actually Mongolian, but speaks fluent Mongolian and Chinese. In the beginning he sang in Mongolian and Dimash in Kazakh. They then both sang in Mandarin. You HAVE to react to Dimash and Chinese singer, Wu Tong, performing, Jasmine, for the Chinese New Year. Absolutely amazing!!!
Freddie and Queen were a unifying musical force 50 years ago - they sang in Japanese and Spanish and Freddie ventured into real operatic style with Montserrat. Dimash stands on the shoulders of both Freddie and Michael Jackson and taking these peaceful forays to a new level in achieving global unity amongst generations and different cultures (with the help of UA-cam of course) through his music and his spiritual messages. Great things still await us.

Swan goose performance was at the TV Spring Festival Gala in China on February 5, 2019. Tengger or Tengri (translated: sky) born 1960 is a well-known Chinese singer, songwriter and composer of Mongol ethnicity. Dimash met Tengri in April 2018 during his guest appearance in the 'Singer 2018' competition. It is nice to see the respect with which Dimash treats Tengri and with what joy and warmth he looks at him. In China, they not only represent themselves, but also the culture of their peoples. They sing in three languages (Kazakh, Chinese and Mongolian) and the accompanying band 'The HU' (now a famous Mongolian metal band - you should listen to them) plays with traditional instruments a Mongolian folk song with over-throat singing. 🔝🎤❤️👏👏👏🌹

In this song Dimash sang in Kazakh, Tengri sang in Mongolian (I think) then towards the end, last chorus they sang together in Mandarin (Chinese). They were mixing different cultures! Amazing!
When Dimash first comes in, he is singing in his native Kazakh language - not Chinese.

Great reaction, the mix of traditional with modern is always a fantastic way to merge generations as well as music styles. A newer artist that does this well is Faouzia, she mixes traditional Arabic sounds with modern pop. It’s a very cool sound, like in Puppet or Habibi or Solie or well, a lot of her other songs. You should check her out.

I've heard this type of singing ( throat singing) and liked it , tengri is singing whta is called khoomie by the Mongolian tribes like Altai or Tuva(those i know a bout) also Siberia and inuit . You might want to watch inuk female singers . Actually throat singing is also sang but differently in Africa and the arabs even.

Format of this vid makes little sense to me: you pause, even though you needed to blurr the reference instead. Most of the screen is blurred. You are to small to feel like watching with you and enjoy your spontaneous. Random blow-ups of you just nodding to nothing special are not helping. Please, could you do it your old way?
