Sometimes I think I'm good at videogames (not Skater XL), and then guys like this come along hahaha.
I love how skating usually comes to creativity and showing your own view of stuff... Which is basically the definition of art. Saying that "if he was taken away the mods he would be just like everyone else" just says that you didn't understand the concept of the game yet :S
I may have said more than once that I'm not that into Skater XL but, this has to be the best thing I've seen on this game. I'm honestly blown away!!! Great video and going to find Frammyy right now
this type of customization is what skating games have needed never knew you could do half of these

Honestly, and this is just assumption as I've never tried, but I think a lot of that can be done with custom foot placements being defined for the base trick it's being altered from.
For example the tailstall footplate front foot under the nose. He could have set up tailslides (the actual trick the game technically registers) to face the feet in those exact positions where they line up like that while doing the trick. Meaning every tailslides he does he feet would be that way BUT for that one specific trick it looks proper.
Thing is as long as his body doesn't clip the obstacle and his board lands grip up it will still register, even if say your back foot is jacked a foot off the board during it.

the grab over the cinderblock was probably done by adjusting the hand position on the indy with xxl3 grabs (dawg vinci's own newer grab system ) so it looks like he is reaching his hand out for the thing when he does an indy instead of grabbing the board
iirc you can add and delete stuff from the map creator and the change will show up in the replay editor. so for a clip like the brick hand plant, you could precisely place it under the hand, after you have done the trick

First clip, one-foot nose manny powerslide popped into the gazelle inward heel motion, filmed from an angle that looks like the foot that's off is underflipping the board? Genius.

I been doing MNXL with Frammy for almost 2 years now. He's the goat, i try to keep up to him but its next to impossible. but check out my edits, im on some other level shit too :D

Modders gotta work on the facial expressions. Still looks the same from when it came out
To be fair, most of these tricks are done by tweaking and dialing in mod settings.
I'm not saying it's easy, but I don't see it as being super skillful because of that. Very creative though.

He's not that good, if his precious mods were taken away he'd be just like anyone else. The actual best players in the world aren't even on PC, so they get no recognition.
Are you really going to complain that people are using mods? That's the whole point of playing on pc. Don't get me wrong there's some serious killers on console. But for creativity and aesthetic frammy is the man.
