My favorite player of all time
I’ve probably watched this a dozen times never gets old! #GoBravos!!
Very reminiscent of Mickey Mantles rookie season, blowing his knee out during the 1951 World Series. To me, Chipper Jones is the Mickey Mantle of my generation. Miss you at 3rd base, miss you even more at home plate. ⚾️
Mike Pardue 🤟
Always felt the same, I always thought he was better than Eddie Murray 😁 but considering I grew up three blocks from bowles high School in Jacksonville I could be bias😁
I remember watching these. And feeling the pain shoot through my knee. Every Braves fan felt it.
Chipper I just want to say thank you for all the years and hard work that you put in to be the greatest Brave ever along with hammerin Hank! It was a joy and an honor to watch you play Everyday. You played the game the right way even though some of your contemporaries chose to cheat by using steroids but you never let that influence you! You're the reason why I still love baseball to this day! Thank you for all that you did for this ballclub and for the City of Atlanta! Our thoughts and prayers will always be with you and your family! Proud to call you Atlanta Braves!
I was there sitting right at the third base line when chipper got injured in houston. It was sad, such a pleasure to watch him play over the years.
That must be tough
Braves are doing Great right now!
Hopefully Mike Soroka can do this and come back even better
Michael will do it, just like Chipper did!
I remember this
Poor Chipper He Didn't Deserve To Have This Crap Happening To Him
Loyal is chipper through and through
I saw a minor league player have the exact same thing happen he never made it back. It was hard to see. Also sa e a player tear his hamstring running to 1st
Without the 1.5 to 2 lost years, Chipper possibly would have gotten to 500 homers and 3000 hits.
he never had the same speed after either. He still had good speed but the injury kept him from having some +40 sb seasons
