Hi, great review, SwitchBot suggests using their own cleaning solution but have you found any alternative, after shipping + customs it becomes very expensive.
I had the exact same question. The problem normally is that the brands cleaning agent (other than being crazy expensive and difficult to buy) has left out the foaming ingredient that normal supermarket cleaningsoaps has very much of. So normally you could ruin your expensive gadget because it would generate excessive amounts of foam. Can anyone confirm if you can put regular soap in this? And if not does anyone know of cheap soap that doesn't foam? Also: Could you just empty the dustbin contents in the trash and then reuse it? (again because of price and availability).
@stangtennis the bag would be hard to empty you could rip it open and put a velcro in it. As per mixing solution you are right about the foam. Look at karcher cleaning solutions. They have them for floors and carpets they are insanely good. Pricy but one of the best on the market.
@@notenoughtech Ok thanks for the reply. This is why I'm holding off on a robot. When you no longer can get the bags and/or solutioon you can't use the product. I actually have som of the Kärcher stuff in my cabinet... :) But yeah expensive...
Looks great, but it looks like mopping is only done in the middle or the areas. Corners and close to wall look like it just won't reach them.
I bought it a few months ago and couldn’t be happier
for sharing your feedback

I don't there is anything special about the floor cleaner they supply. As long as it not abrasive to plastic it should be fine whatever you pick,
