Grr. I ran across this deck online like 6 times yesterday. And they had perfect hands after perfect hands. Flawless playing by every player I faced. And now thanks to this video, I'll be seeing it even more.

Leaving the rotom with 20hp was arguably a throw, a turo there would've left you one prize short. I would've benched 2nd munki attached luminous and taken the 4 prizes. Only issue would be an iono and not being able to find mew ex for game or boss on the bibs.
I legit went on a 10 + streak with this most from concedes

Tried banette-garde before. Good thing about it aside from item locking is you don't need to search for too much energy since it doesn't rely on burst damage like balloon+charm
Banette ex can use that supporter to evolve first turn if you go second, since it doesn't have ability. Might make this faster, and getting the item lock quicker is pretty important..
Hey I played it in NAIC definitely was a rough time but online before the tournament it was running online like a beast your worse matchups are Bolt and Gardevoir

How come nobody uses hyper aroma ace specs with gardevoir? I get it doesn't help with gardevoir itself, but it would help a lot with setting up kirlias and in this case it would help with banette
This and other decks that can item lock are effective against item reliant decks like chien pao, the metazard and raging bolt. That makes an opponent have to manually evolve their mons in their bench.

I've been preaching luminose energy in gardy lists with monkidori. It just works in both cases of getting monkidori or not
How do you play this deck?
Load up with shuppet and banette and use gardevoir as a late game attacker???

LDF or people, I need advice. I keep running into the same decks on the ladder (regidrago, lugia, raging bolt, gardevoir) and I'm wondering what deck I should play into these to give me the best consistency. I get that I probably can't counter all of the decks but I'm just curious what you think is the best deck to climb with at the moment
Try Alakazam ex deck! Stick the Mewtwo in there who has the reflective barrier attack along with the hisuan zororark with the doom curse attack. Its working for me, Give it a try and fingers crossed, you may have some luck
I use item card that trim hands and eri for total disruption.

I play mainly gardevoir. I get wrecked with that stadium card that cancels tool cards and lost vacuum. You k.o. instantly baloon pokemon and screamtail and still get to attack. Water deck (chienpao greninja) wrecks garde if you hit the kirlias. If the garde have manaphy, boss it, use cancelling potion and ko the kirlias

This deck works so it seems, but this deck needs no skill. Its just boring and oponent just watches you play. Or more you watch him struggle.
This deck requires a metric ton of skill. Item lock with 30 damage doesn't get you far in this meta. It is one of the most skill intensive decks you can play right now and one wrong decision can cost you the game

Yea it’s not really skill you just hope you play against a heavily item reliant deck

Is the jump from master league to the top hard?
On PTCGL? I did it with the Festival league deck. I've been told it's not really indicative of skill.
If im not mistaken, you gain more than you lose sometimes so if you grind with a decent win rate you can get there
