The Peterson Farm Bros are made up of Greg (33), Nathan (30), and Kendal (27) Peterson. We are 5th generation family farmers who farm together in Kansas with our parents David and Marla and our wives BrookeAnna (Greg's), Riley (Nathan's) and Caelan (Kendal's). This channel is full of videos about our family farm and what we do to take care of animals and grow crops. Our videos range from our entertaining parodies, to our hilarious comedy videos, to our informational vlogs. It is our hope that these videos will give everyone who watches them a better understanding of what a real family farm looks like. We try to be as honest and upfront as possible in our videos and our posts and hope that viewers will realize how much hard work goes into farming. With over 250 million video views on social media, you don't want to miss out! The family shoots were a great addition. We need to pray for rain. Happy farming!
Thanks so much for taking care of the farm lands. The kiddos are getting so big so fast!!! Bless you all.
Thanks for the video y’all are truly blessed to live in such a beautiful place and to be able to work with your family that is awesome thank y’all for sharing y’all daily life with us
Nice to have good brothers.
The burning season of the Flint Hills is one of my favorite times of the year!
Thanks so much for a very great video. I live in Southern Ontario Canada but grew up on a farm 160 miles to the east.
Moved to the big city and got married like you folks and around the same age. Loved my time with my kids and thanks
your video brings back lots of memories for sure. Enjoy your life and family and keep posting your great videos.
The worsed move you ever made moving away an to the city. No way in he'll I would ever move to the city. I'll die in the country before that.
good job guys kids look good pray for rain😀😇
The kids are adorable! In a few weeks after the grass starts growing do another video on the burnt areas.
I only have 12 acres, but we burn part of it down to keep invasive plants and trees from growing. We also let a neighbor mow it for some hay. We are thinking about fencing off part of it to raise our own livestock for our family.
Great video guys. Thank you
Peterson Farm Bros, This is fantastic! I subscribed because I love it!
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO GUY'S 😊
Comment #2: I am sure you guys can do a parody of "Disco Inferno" by next year! I'm looking forward to it!🤣🤣🤣👍👍
I'm feeling my age every time i hear pivot I see a sofa, stairwell and David Schwimmer
Me too.🤣
They cuties and getting big!
Funny how the country is so different. You burn to get rid of cedar trees and we have a hard time getting a tree to grow more than 10-15 years without something happening to them.
Here in Ont. Canada we can't burn before half hour before sun set an no later the half hour before sun rise. So burning my live stock fields in the spring make for a really long day an night. But there nothing better for them. But it will be some time yet before snow gone an dry enough to burn.
Nice video it is surprising how fast kids grow. Pretty funny with the old junk and kids
You should have gotten either an Eby or a Four Star. Yes,they are expensive, but last forever. I have a 1986 Four Star, and my work has a 1999 Eby. Both have seen many miles and tons of livestock. Either brand will pay you back 3X! Great video! Hope you get good service from your trailer.
Burning the old makes sense. We did that to our yard in El Paso when I was little. Great job!
Hopefully, you guys got some of that rain last night. We've not had squat up in NW Kansas so far
Nope we got nothing sadly!
Love them kids Moo
Happy belated Easter!
❤ 🙏 ❤
great video. love fire videos
How is your wheat looking?
It's trying to hang in there. It had its top end yield hindered by the freeze but with how dry it's been since fertilizing it, it will soon be hurt more by lack of rain than the freeze. This is the 3rd spring in a row for us with very warm and dry weather, not what we're used to and not good for wheat.
What percentage of your acres do you burn. It seems to be a very small amount in that field. You said prescribed burn? Are you required to burn by law / custom or as part of some environmental incentive
This pasture is only 80 acres and is surrounded by hundred of acres of pasture to 3 sides so that's why it looks like a small portion. We are not required,it is land owners choice. Its called a "prescribed" burn because we did it on purpose targeting healthier grass and less invasive species. It can also just be called a "controlled burn"
That’s what the North American indigenous people did years ago. It made the grass green up and their thinking was it brought the Buffalo back.
Just curious do you guys breed cow's to keep up with them if so do you have a bull that you use?
👍👍💯💯❤❤👏👏🙏🙏⚔⚔
Haha - show me your sad face while trying not to laugh. 😅
These fires 🔥are great for deterring squatters, hunters and game wardens, stray dogs and cats, nosey neighbors and anyone named Fred from loitering or having picnics in your fields as well as slowing the reproduction of black flies, mosquitoes and small furry mammals. Get the whole family helping out and you'll have more fun than everyone sharing a slinky and a grease gun!😊
