- Is it just me or has the temperature gotten a lot hotter year over year? Living in sunny California, we normally have to turn on the air conditioner between June to August. However, with the recent climate change madness, I personally feel that all the seasons have been pushed back at least one to two months. We’re now having to experience summer heat all throughout late September or mid October. Cold weather can extend until the end of March. What is going on?!!! This summer we decided to purchase a portable air conditioner fan for our parents since they like to save money and not turn on the AC. After doing some research on Amazon, we settled for the AMEIKO portable air conditioner fan. Our team put it through the usual White Gloves Review process to see if this little guy can live up to our parents’ expectations...

Thanks for review! How long does the cold air last? If you're trying to sleep with it over night. How loud is it? Would you recommend people sleeping with this?
To be honest, the "cold" air isn't really that cold. The ice will last you anywhere between 30mins to 1hr depending on how many you can git in the base. The noise from the fan is a bit loud, it's worth placing at a decent distance to help you sleep.

We live in very hot and dray place , is it better than normal fan or it is the same and the quality of this fan is good or cheap?!!
It’s always better to buy a big fan! but even though I have a tower fan which I love !I also use one of these because it helps in a personal way! so even though we had a heat wave this week I didn’t sweat at all.
