Extremely helpful 👍🏼 I do this deleting on a daily basis so don’t get such a huge amount to deal with. All my photos are in folders. So satisfying once its all organized ❤
I’m experiencing the same problem myself so the timing of your video is perfect. I’m a little embarrassed to admit that I have over 13,000 pictures on my phone! The majority of them are either screenshots or pictures of our dachshund which are hard for me to delete as well as pictures of family that are no longer with us. I used to be very good at going through and deleting them on a regular basis but it started to get overwhelming. It doesn’t help that I seem to take just as many if not more than the amount I delete each day. I think your video is going to give me the motivation and the push I needed to help me to reduce the number of pictures on my phone. Your videos are always so inspiring and motivational which is very much appreciated!
Great video! I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a clear and concise and calm way of approaching digital photo decluttering! Definitely what I was looking for to do my first pomodoro session in getting my digi-life together! Thank you!
Oh, that's an interesting topic. I have not yet watched the whole video and I'm curious if you are going to mention the method I've been using for a decade... which is not taking photos at all. It is so wonderful not to have to deal with the cleanup. And if I ever do need a picture of an event or person, I can be sure my friends will be able to provide several. So freeing! 😀 Now on to the rest of the video 👍😀
Well it’s a sign! I’ve got to get my digital clutter in order. I’ve been avoiding my phone’s warnings for too long. The rearranging might be caused by the program putting them in order of date taken which is why it doesn’t rearrange the photos uploaded directly from your camera. There’s other ways to arrange them (size, type) but I don’t think there’s a way to manually arrange them. Thanks for the encouragement!
I use Google photos and drive to store photos. I make different albums for each day on a vacation or each museum, location, church, castle etc... and keep those photos together. At the end of the day or when on a plane or train I organize further and delete bad pics or doubles. For events around home I do the same with a specific album for the event. My biggest issue is duplicates or near duplicate photos and early photos that are in paper form not digitized. If there is an inexpensive and fast/easy way to digitize old paper photos I'm all ears.
Hi Sarah, how are you? I started decluttering and organising my photos, but I stalled. 🙄 Hopefully, this will inspire me to pull my finger out and get them sorted! Hope you have a great week. x
Thank God I haven't got all those photos! Though when I sent looking about what to delete I have a lot of word docs that I need to go through, lots of downloaded docs, and I have 'stored' photos on facebook that I need to go through and delete... Do you have a video on decluttering facebook?

Love that, Sharon!

Thank you so much, Caitlin! I wish you luck as you go through these photos!
What I have found is a lot of our anxiety comes from old photos!

You are so welcome, Laura! I'm glad to hear this video was able to help so much!
Wow Sarah you did declutter alot. I'm more a photo album person than digital. Thank you. Hugs ❤
Thanks, Cathy!

I'm so glad this works for you! To connect to your example, I am often the person my friends or family go to for the pictures :)

You've got this!

That sounds like a great system! Unfortunately, I don't think there are any quick fixes for most photo decluttering.
I’ve used my phone to take pictures of old photos that are on paper only. Hope that helps.
I've found that vacation photos are only interesting if people in my group are in them. Otherwise, I can get better pics of places we sightsee online.
My parents are that way too! For business purposes I always make sure to get images without people!

Hi Gemma! I've been doing well! I hope this video helps get you unstuck!

Do you have a scanner to recommend for papers?
