Carmine died by stroke on the show and in real life, Phil had a heart attack on the show and real life, Tony is told he would die of a heart attack on the show and died of one in real life.. pretty eery
I'm rewatching The Sopranos for the umpteenth time and was just wondering about all those that have passed on, so thank you for this! I just wish you would have edited in ALL of their performances, even if just a blip or a thumbnail, and even if it made this video 20 minutes long instead of 13 I would have watched every second of it...
Soon enough, there'll be a time when all the characters, each and every one, who worked and appeared in the Sopranos, will be no longer with us. We're still lucky that we are living in a time when many of them are alive , just in case , we ever get a chance to meet them, we would witness the greatness of the legendary show "The Sopranos". I hope I'll get a chance to meet any one of them in the future , and would love to watch it again for the 4th time.
Look... Every one of this people were someone's brother, father, husband, wife, sister, mother...it's an imens lose that nothing can make it better.... but... 90%of them they were over 70 years of age... they were old people, who lived, a big part of life... Tragic is the lose of those under 50...Jim Gandolfinni, the guy dead at 38 from leukemia, another one at 42...another at 53...😢😢😢 But we loved them all, as much as we can possibly love people who we never meet, but they made our lifes easier on Saturday evening each week invited in our living rooms... 😢😢😢 RIP to all the Departed ones. 🙏🙏🙏
I didn't know about the late Tony Siragusa passing on🙁 I remember him from his gridiron days in The NFL. I remember him from his 'Goose' nickname back then👍 R.I.P. 😇
I have watched the Sopranos three times this year and I always catch something new. David Chase's special on HBO was pretty informative and interesting.
Like All In The Family and Columbo, The Sopranos will never be forgotten. Those shows tick all the boxes of direction, scripts and acting with 3 legendary actors playing the lead. Carroll O'Conner, Peter Falk and James Gandofini. There were some shows just as good, but never better.
Only in very peculiar circumstances (unsuccessful operations, accidents that went very wrong maybe). Generally no 🙂. Though I wouldn't point that out to grieving relatives if they say it's tragic
Just looking up the superb Vincent Curatola (only 71 - played “Johnny Sac”) - didn't know he sang, and has appeared several times on stage with Chicago!
Man, I never saw a single episode of the show by 2005 or 2006. But around then A&E picked up syndication rights. And of course I was immediately hooked. So by the time the final season aired I was close to caught up. And the day those final episodes released on dvd I broke my neck getting to a Wal-Mart for the dvd set. Many consider the series to be the greatest ever. While I personally disagree it’s definitely the most influential tv show of all time
Sadly, the list of the actors from the Sopranos who survive might be shorter. RIP and thank you to those who have died. You are appreciated and missed.
Thank you for this heartwarming video of those who have passed. I’ll echo what everyone says regarding The Sopranos as the very best example of extraordinary acting, writing, music, set design, storylines, and all that is necessary for unabridged success. The “perfect storm” of each member of this production, down to kraft services, coming together to create the ultimate drama. It made history and continues to fascinate new viewers to this day. I must have watched Sopranos 400 times, dissecting every nuance to uncover the power of fine writing and brilliant acting. Thank you so much! We simply cannot say enough about this iconic series.
Nancy Marchands death really ended a great story arch far too soon. If she hadn't died, I think the story with Tony and her woulda gotten really interesting.
What is the fascination with UA-cam creators calling a death by health reasons tragic? views? the only person that died tragically was the guy that was Vitos boyfriend for a bit,he committed suicide, thats tragic, getting run over and killed by a car is tragic so is falling of a ledge without meaning to,dying of cancer sucks but its not "tragic" unless your a baby or a teenager,Gandolfinis death sucked bad, guy had a lot more to give but he didn't take care of himself,it catches up with you eventually, oh i forgot, the guy that played Mustang Sally died of a overdose, thats just stupidity.
No tribute for Tony Sirico? I feel like I've been stabbed in the heart.
Tributes the guy who sits nexts to Phil Leonardo in some seens, very weird
Me too 😢
11:55
Yeah, he’s in there - died 2022.
How much more betrayal can he take?!
It's sad when they go young like that.
When they GO?!!
When they go???
Well,they all go
WHEN THEY GO?
He was 46!!!!
The Sopranos is the greatest series ever made
Absolutely 💯👌❤️
@@josephtalmadge3108 with out a doubt 👍
Agreed! Easily!
wasn't better than COLUMBO.
Amen to that
God, it’s almost been 20 years. That was my Sunday. From 99 to 2007. 😢
*LOVED IT!!! I MISS THAT "QUALITY" OF TELEVISION SHOWS!*
Good times.
In England they use to show it every Thursday at 11. Never missed a single episode
You know who did 20 years? Uncle Philly
20 years in the can
Hey, who would have guessed, Uncle Jun would outlive them all!
Age 82. He was just a kid.
Carmine died by stroke on the show and in real life, Phil had a heart attack on the show and real life, Tony is told he would die of a heart attack on the show and died of one in real life.. pretty eery
Well Frank Vincent died from complications from his heart surgery, idk if it was cardiac arrest. But yes its coincidence
No Phil had his head shot up and ran over over in the show.
Carmine thought the world of you 🌍
Very allegorical
Christopher said he'd have a heart attack at 50. Made it to 51.

Nice tribute, thanks for posting.
Had no idea so many of these actors have passed away!🙏🏾
That's quite the list.
Johnny boy died?! He was a saint!

Ya rarely ever seen Johnny Boy Soprano at premises or reunions. He was almost like a mythological character on n off screen 📺
Very well said I agree 100%
Hands down the greatest show to ever exists on television
I have the Sopranos just a step behind "The Wire" as the greatest series ever in the history of television 📺
@@TheOlskool4ever i have COLUMBO as *#1.
Like the early yrs of SNL,I'd hurry home to watch & look forward to every episode & I'd watch reruns several times
There will never be another series quite like the Sopranos. RIP to all those who passed.
fax
Great show with great actors 💝
No love for burt young
I agree he was a good actor.
He was only in one episode.
The Terminator
Thank you!

This list is stupid. Johnny Cakes got more love that Paulie. Maybe if he hadn't lost his shoe while chasing down a Czechoslovakian interior decorator.
👍😂😂😂
Wow so many
Beautifully narrated.
The guy that played Albie was the guy with the mustache and hat that was drinking with Billy Batts at the bar when he told Tommy to get his shinebox
Nice spot, Never noticed that and seen it so many times.
Very well done documentary, it’s rare to view such a quality tribute on UA-cam.
Nice tribute may they all RIP Greatest TV show ever.
Amazing how many have passed! Greatest show ever. Will never be another like it!
I knew John Costelloe. He was a good guy. He had his struggles, but he was so talented.
Can someone dying in their 80s or 90s really be described as 'tragic'? Nice video tribute regardless.
Only in very peculiar circumstances (unsuccessful operations, accidents that went very wrong maybe). Generally no 🙂. Though I wouldn't point that out to grieving relatives if they say it's tragic
Depends on how they die
Still enjoy watching
Denise Borino-Quinn, 46? She looked 76.
Great background music.
I love the graph added to the video📈📊
I never realised johnny cakes passed away!
Vito's homosexual boyfriend was "a beacon of normalcy " ?? Maybe in your world, Mr Fruit Loops !! And where's my favorite, Paulie ??
I thought Ginny Sack was really pretty. The way she was made up on the show I though she was older. She was quite young.
So many people from this show have died holy shit
Wow. Did not know about the fates of alot of these actors.
No way the list goes on and on😢
I gotta stop drinking, the wine makes me emotional.
Just looking up the superb Vincent Curatola (only 71 - played “Johnny Sac”) - didn't know he sang, and has appeared several times on stage with Chicago!
My friend Tony Lip. Enjoyed our lunches together.
The best TV show of all time !
I'll watch The Sopranos till my last breath. Rip to all of them. :{
Good post
They'll all Live Forever on Film
Rest In Peace 🙏
I never realized that almost half of the cast is dead.😢
She was only 71 !!! How sad.
Man, I never saw a single episode of the show by 2005 or 2006. But around then A&E picked up syndication rights. And of course I was immediately hooked. 00:37 I know vitos was impacted.
Off topic, but Meadow is now a beautiful adult woman. A 10 in any man's book !!
Long live Uncle Jun, soon to be 94!
Sadly, the list of the actors from the Sopranos who survive might be shorter. RIP and thank you to those who have died. You are appreciated and missed.
The gay cook was a beacon of normalcy

why did i cry watching this?
John Costelloe, he was just a kid.
It would have been shorter to show who’s still alive.
Tom Aldredge died in real life on the day before his character died on Boardwalk Empire.
They ended the show too soon RIP
9 yrs is about the max for all the great shows.
😢 dam I want until close to 90 . 70s or before I feel is too young .
47 years old...he was just a kid
OH!!! The finook gets a tribute but not Paulie walnuts!?
Thats gotta be resolved
Johnny Sack could be on the jerk side with his wife (they were all like that) but he loved his wife. I liked seeing them together.
Even Tony’s lawyer is gone.
🙏♥️🙏
86 - Just a kid
I forgot how long ago all this was. This was quite a few people.
Nancy Marchands death really ended a great story arch far too soon. If she hadn't died, I think the story with Tony and her woulda gotten really interesting.
“And therefore never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.” - John Donne (1572-1631)
Was the Sopranos.....cursed.
The percentage of people making it to their 80s and 90s is small statistically, guess the 70s is where most people get their ticket punched.
Didn't know Tony Sirico died.
He past away in the short period of time with other gangster movie legends: James Caan, Ray Liotta and Paul Sorvino. Summer of 2022
No Sirico tribute?? How much more betrayal can we take??
Nancy Marchand was only 71? Crap im 68 & i still feel pretty young, she looked older than my 93 yr old mother
God bless
71, 47, 83.. They were just kids..
Geez, is anybody from that show still alive?
Denise Borino-Quinn was a punchline of fat jokes on Married With Children at the shoe store Al Bundy worked at!!
What happen to the Gallina's, Silvio and Christopher went up to see them about knocking off Johnny Sacks
What are ya gonna do
your brother billly whatever happened there
Several storms worth of Lightning in that Bottle!
Damn, Tony Lip died of the same thing Carmine died of.
Sorry about your boys (and girls). Terrible thing!
The show is cursed.
They became too popular.
Vin Makazian
Didn't know Johnnie Cakes went like that. Maybe he had inoperable cancer?
So Carmine’s actor died of a stroke just like his character?
Maybe he just needed a plate of Johnny cakes
Johnny Cakes commited suicide??? I didn't know that
Oh wow 😳 that's sad.
Not one of the greatest TV dramas of all time, the greatest TV drama of all time!
Not Johnny cakes
Welp..another toothpick
