    Rick, nothing stops you. You go through his bone pile and find parts to get the thing up and running. You da man. Then you go home, edit and post for the rest of us to learn. Thank you.

      water is an insulator. It's the minerals in the water that are conductive.

    That's why I like to stick to a basic system. I have an 80% furnace with a constant torque and a single stage condenser. Gr3at video as always Rick

      I don't really consider constant torque basic, I'd rather have a psc motor.

    I used to work for EMS and did HVAC repair on my days off before opening my business in 2002. Just make sure If you are going to get shocked, make sure to use your right hand. It's much less likely the current will cross through your heart.

    Ignoring a problematic sump pump ended up costing more to fix other things. Got to keep up that home maintenance or it will come back at you... Sad if insurance covers the stupidity of the homeowner. No wonder insurance is high.

      No, those are designed like that. You can take the whole handle area apart, there made by an American test probe company that specializes in oscilloscope probes.

    Those motors are not available where I live. The website says back ordered. Supposedly there’s a GreenSpeed motor part 6510V should replace it but you need an interface module for communicating motors. Good ol’ Carrier

    • @HVACRSurvival
      @HVACRSurvival  Місяць тому +5

      Yeah, this one actually communicates with the board, as soon as the board doesn’t see the motor it’s not gonna try to run. Some of the cheaper models use a multi tap motor based off low-voltage. This is not one of them.

    A couple of months ago my brother was having trouble with his furnace and I was walking him through it over the phone and I hadn't replaced a three amp fuse with a 5 amp and it actually took out the board. lol He had to get a new board but mind you this is all over the phone my brother's not a HVAC guy but eventually when he did get the board in again I walked him through it and he got everything working, short on the 24 was a critter (he lives in Texas)had nawed on the 24 jump to the condenser
