I adore this machine. It's my first one, I am a total beginner, so I learned on it. I had no problems at all with different materials. I've had it for a year and I am still loving it. Worth the price too... :) :)
I bought it 3 years ago, It's awesme! Really easy and nice. I recommend it. :3 Quality is nice, I even could sew silk and coat on it. I would give this machine 5 stars. Plus it's not expensive.
Lorraine update... I went out and bought a Decor pro 200 and it's the best thing I ever did... wished I had stayed with my Janome machine that was brilliant x
Picked one of these up on FB marketplace at a good price. Hardly used. Lil baby now part of the collection as well as my Jack industrial A4E. Solid basic heavy duty machine. That hump jumping foot makes all the difference. They no longer manufacture them which is a shame. However if you get a chance to get your hands on one in good condition...get it.
great demo, but it would have been a lot better if you had used a different coloured thread for the demo, not easy to see the thread when it is the same colour....My mother worked for Singers and one thing she always made sure was the thread was a different colour so the customers could see exactly how well it sewed.........Love this machine and what it can do, perfect for my needs but i now have a dilemma between which super jeans model to pick or do i go with the Toyota Oekaki Renaissance ?! Think i will have to find somewhere, selling both and get a hands on demo as the video is not clear enough for my liking
yet too find a Toyota S.j tutorial on how to use the buttonhole foot 3in1. Other than I'm enjoying this machine tho I do want one with stitch width and a decent basting stitch on too.
Can you tell me why my Jeans machine cannot sew on jersey fabric, it just bunches behind. I've checked tension and use ballpoint needle. I am just about ready to use my hammer on it! HELP.
I'm having the same problem. I bought it to sew dog collars 6 layers of fabric and I keep getting big loops on the underside of the fabric. Altered tension to +3 and it still happens.
I just think we,ve been sold down the river with this one I had to buy another new machine, wished I,d never bought the jeans machine it's not worth the money and I wished I had sent mine back now x
I have a jersey fabric I cannot for the life of me see on this machine . Changed the thread changed the needle even tried zig zag . I need to send a piece of the fabric to someone that can work this machine to figure out how I can stitch it help line only suggested what I had tried already . It baffles me . Can any one help ?
Having trouble getting this machine to stitch too....keeps skipping stitches. Have tried changing needle types, adjusting tension, still doesn't stitch properly. VERY ANNOYING!
This is a great machine for home sewing, but it isn't an industrial machine. The advantage of the stronger motor and gliding foot are admirable, but unless you use heavy thread, and a jeans/leather needle, you wont be mowing through several layers of anything. If you need a true heavy duty machine, check into a commercial machine. Paying for a small home machine and expecting it to work like a powerful industrial machine, will only aggravate you.
lynnie rodgers Update, i just threw this machine away. I'm sorry but it's really not worth it's cost. With it's single speed, sewing small projects or items with many curves is uncomfortable. The thing is so loud and shaky, the lightbulb kept getting loose, flickering and going off. I don't know the quality of denim sewn in the promo vids, but those "12 layers" of anything don't seem realistic at all. When i finally saw the frame inside this thing, compared to other sewing machines... I knew this rubbish had to go. I bought a "brother innov-is 20" now, i hope not to be this disappointed again.
An olive skinned boy with long blond curly hair, brown eyes and a learning disorder in the stories I write doesn't like black machines either but he's a recipient of pinafore eroticism from a group of abusive olive skinned women who aren't particularly surprised to see him with his hair in a ponytail and his toenails painted black (wearing a black tunic dress and black open toe sandals with high heels) facing the frustration of winding bobbins and carrying out essential repairs on a machine like this one.
It has an expremely WEAK Motor. 65W and 15W attributable to the light bulb. I used to sew with a 1970 Bernina 830 machine and my Toyota Superjeans is a joke compared. The parts are cheaper, the mechanics isnt as solid and feels much lower quality. The toyota is much less powerful (the needle will never break since it has not enough power, whereas the with the 1970 Bernina 830 i sewed many thick layers and broke many needles). But i still like the Toyota very much and would buy it again since its cheap (USD 230) and does standard sewing perfectly as I dont need anything more.

is this machine any good as i'm skeptical about its quality
Sorry if I'm asking the obvious but, have you tried using a ball-point needle?
Can you tell me why my Jeans machine cannot sew on jersey fabric, it just bunches behind. I've checked tension and use ballpoint needle. I am just about ready to use my hammer on it! HELP.
Hi Debbie. Would this be a good machine for making faux leather handbags with multiple layers etc?
I'm having the same problem. I bought it to sew dog collars 6 layers of fabric and I keep getting big loops on the underside of the fabric. Altered tension to +3 and it still happens.

lynnie rodgers Why? What happened with yours?
Agreed, the elephant in the room - you can't adjust the stitch length, which is a really basic need 👎
I have this machine and keeps slip stitching even after I have done all the right checks any advice please
I had the same problem 😓

Hey, did you ever buy this machine. I'm about to buy it in kenya and need to know your experience with it.
This was recommended by a wig making class.
So how did the new mop turn out you get that new carpet installed yet
Traducir en español por favor
i think she means she cant sew jersey fabric on this machine x
i would try to help butdont understand your question
Having trouble getting this machine to stitch too....keeps skipping stitches. Have tried changing needle types, adjusting tension, still doesn't stitch properly. VERY ANNOYING!
It does the same thing to me as well! I cannot make a decorative topstitch.
It doesn't even have a stitch length adjuster which is crap!

Non
Not great foot lifter position, it's on the right and I'm left handed ...horrible feeling having to search for it, should be at the back ☹️
I tried sewing leather, using a leather needle, but i feel it was too much for the machine.
+Lorraine me too Lorraine.... it felt that the machine was too light to take any pressure and it started to move around x
so sad :(

Looks like a great sewing machines, but I don't like black machines.
