2024 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale Recap: Day 1

On this episode, StallioneSearch was on hand to capture footage of the top three-selling yearlings from the opening session of the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale. A total of over 10-yearlings brought prices that exceed the $200,000-mark.
The first session of the two-day sale concluded with 158 horses selling for a total of $11,134,000, a 46% increase over last year's first-session gross with 17 less horses selling. The average price was $70,468, a 30% increase over the 2023 opening session, and the median also rose, from $40,000 to $42,000.
