    I am with you on the rolling aspect, if they don't roll, avoid them!

    This is another awesome overview of Inno64 and funny enough that NFS Heat s14 was the first model I got as well but as soon as I found out they didn’t roll I was disappointed for sure. But on the plus side the amount of detail especially on the interior is insane! I think the price on them is alittle steep but if you are just going to get these to display and nothing more then I think this brand would definitely be one to look at without a doubt! Great video dude! 👍🏻

      It's a great brand but you do have to just accept that if it's a lowered model it's not going to roll. Fortunately for the non-slammed models they do seem to be paying more attention to rolling and the models with metal bases feel much more solid overall.

    Thanks for doing a review on these! I race most of the cars I collect. Even some of my Tomica Limited Vintage cars. Some are actually pretty quick. But seeing the extremely detailed cars race down a 1/64 scale 1/4mile run is epic! However cars like these are again very pricey. I was never sure how they rolled or IF they rolled? The fact that they are a more stationary model and not capable of possibly racing or even rolling is not for me. YES these are gorgeous models and have great levels of detail, but no rolling, not for me. Thanks again, great video!

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah I could see TLVs making it down a track ok, for the level of detail they have they're still fairly robust. That is not the case with these. Some of these roll, some don't but even those that do aren't free rolling enough to make it down a track and none of these would ever make it without taking significant damage.

    Completely agree with you on Inno64. The only one I have currently is that wacky Hakotora truck you have in the thumbnail and the fact that it doesn’t roll is a bit of a shame (looks really cool, though!). Like you, their newer models like the Land Cruiser and the Cosworth have really caught my attention, however. Think I’ve seen a teaser for a stock version of the Celica as well. Oh, well. More to add to the list 😄

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  2 роки тому +1

      Ahh, the Hakotora didn't make it into the video. oops. I'm sure there will be many versions of that Celica coming which should be cool. It's clear all these brands are getting better access to licensing now so I'm hoping the next couple years will bring a ton of interesting models and we can move away from everyone just cranking out JDM releases.

    I've always thought the Inno models are really well done. Unfortunately, the racing series that they do aren't really the ones I collect but I hope to get one of their models soon. I agree with you regarding the rolling, it's kind of a dealbreaker to me as well which is partly why I haven't bought any of their models yet.

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  2 роки тому +1

      In just the last couple months I think they've really stepped it up and are broadening their variety so hopefully they'll come out with something soon that will appeal. I'm not sure why the rolling thing bothers me like it does but I'm getting better at looking past it.

    very impressed by the Inno64 details and quality, up there with TLV, if not better. I have both variations of the FJ60 Land Cruiser and the beige one with roof rack and hubcap wheels quickly became my favorite casting of 2021. I hear their black variation of the 190E Evo2 with the detailed plaid seats is a must have as well (better than Mini GT or Tarmac).

    Inno and LCD are the best diecast brands for the money. Low stance=no rolling. I'll make a video explaining why realistic 1/64s usually can't roll.

    • @StingerDiecast
      @StingerDiecast  2 роки тому +3

      Yeah, I'm very aware why they don't roll it's just a preference in what I value in models at this scale and since this series is targeted at trying to expose these brands to Hot Wheels collectors it's also an important issue in that context. I've done slammed custom hot wheels in the past and getting those to roll is a PITA so I certainly don't blame the brands for this but the reality is that it is a factor in whether a brand will resonate with a person or not.
      I received my first LCD model yesterday so I'm looking forward to checking that out. I have no expectation that it will roll. :-)

      problem with LCD, GCD, Masters, xCarToys [insert other no name Chinese brands] is the resale value is non-existent (important for us with very fluid collections). Inno64 has the advantage of having good brand name recognition in both Asia and America, better resale value

    • @StingerDiecast

      To this point it's been no opening parts but I just saw an announcement for a new model that does have them. Tarmac is also bringing the Hobby64+ line which brings moving parts as well so it's not surprising Inno would react since they are direct competitors. We'll see if that's a good thing or not. Moving parts are certainly NOT something I've been hoping to see from these brands.

The Hong Kong area has become a real hotbed for Diecast companies and along with Inno64: Mini GT, Tarmac Works, Para64, Era Car and Tiny HK are all based in the area.
