The words spoken over the trailer is the poem "Boots" by Rudyard Kipling (author of The Jungle Book). He wrote this poem in 1903 about what the British soldiers must have been thinking for the countless hours, days, weeks on end they were marching through South Africa during the Second Boer War. The voice speaking the poem is actor Taylor Holmes who did this recording in 1915. I applaud the sound designers on such an obscure piece to add to this trailer. I had a history teacher play this in class for us going on 30 years ago and I was so surprised to hear it again after all this time in this trailer.
Yoooo!! I just noticed this quick detail from the beginning of the trailer. I think I cracked the mystery about "Jimmy"! If you listen closely, the mother or woman carrying that one child into the bedroom addresses one of the kids as "Jimmy"! It's very fast but you can hear her say "Jimmy"... So... Jimmy is one of those kids! BOOM! And it can't be Jim from 28 Days Later because during this time that character was already an adult. Not a kid.
I might be wrong but whatever big bad zombie that took out young soldiers in the trailer mist be worse than Zack Snyder's big bad zombie in "Army of the dead 2021"

Thank you for all that information! I love learning new things like that. Appreciate it 💯
This trailer is terrifying and it didn’t even show that much. It’s gonna be wild and no doubt scary af
Definitely terrifying
Man, if I were the US I'd just be glassing England at this point.

Ohhhh shit! That's a good catch!
Lo mismo estaba pensando será el mismo Jimmy pero su historia más profunda 😮
will smith's iam legend is also fast rage infected, and btw second chapter is still yet to come
I'm stoaked for that! And True you right
28 days later started it all - fast “zombies” and a “virus” rather than undead.
Army of the Dead not only had FAST zombies, but they were also STRONG and knew how to fight apparently 😅💪🏼💪🏼
🤣 True! I forgot they were strong too and somehow knew how to fight lmao 🤣
Cillian Murphy character in the first one is called jim- Jimmy maybe?
Oh yahhhhh
And the big boss is a guy like Andy from the 2nd movie who was immune and still carries the virus but is aware and leads the rest of the infected

Land of the dead was quite far after outbreak
Couldn't even be arsed to watch until the end of the trailer. Rubbish.
I think it was good
