I watched all 4 videos. after i just sailed a Hunter 30 two days ago. I wish i had watched these first. but i am very grateful to have seen them at least now. thank you for posting this series very helpful.
First , i want to thank you for post a VERY GOOD beginners video and instructions. I for see a bright future for you...and now me !!! ( Thanks again !!! )
Watched all four videos. I'm surprised I haven't come across another comment that mentions this, but this video (4) skips "Changing tack" straight to the "Commands". Otherwise, great job.
I watched all four videos and found them very helpful. The one problem I had was when the instructor asked a question and a student answered I couldn't hear what the answer was. It would be helpful if the instructor repeated the answer.
Incidentally, a 4th meaning of 'tack' is the leading (windward) edge on a square sail. Seems irrelevant here, but if you watch the manoeuvring of a tall (i.e. square rigged) ship that 4th meaning covers covers the other three. The use of the word in modern sailing boats then makes much more sense.
by far the most through video resource for basic sailing instruction i've found anywhere on teh internet!
