I didn't understand the part of the strong winds, could someone please explain? English is not my native language

+zerpaconcept At strong winds you use the downwind guy as spinaker sheet. The guy passes almost from the center of the boat lenght. This stabilizes the spinakker. BTW Great videos!

Hi Mike. Ive just watched some of you instrucional vidoes. Ive never done any sailing but hope to one day. So be it from someone that knows nothing about sailing.....Youve presented these videos very well. I feel like im learnt something ,which is generally a good thing. Ill continue my youtube self schooling, in the hope that one day i might be able to experience the real thing. You explain things very well. I dont know if your one of those go out and go get it, entrepener type guys. But i reckon if you got together with some games develeper type people, you could come up with a very realistic, even training type sailing game. Money people are paying for games these days is phenominal. You could make a fortune/another fortune. Ide try to get that sort of thing happening myself. But im poor. So if ya do it and ya dont know what to do with a spare $100,000. You can buy me a live aboard yacht, so i can move out of the tin shed im living in and take up.sailing. haha. Just thought ide throw that in. Anyway, nice job on the vids and i'll keep .y eye out for more. Cheers.

How long does it take learn enough about sailing to do trip from California to Hawaii?
I see the videos of people all over the pacific islands.

Ray Harkins one heck of a journey
But the shortest way would be down the carabean and though the Panama Canal, but that's the easy part,
Now you've got to sail half way across the Pacific Ocean which is the biggest ocean in the world and the last place you would ever want to get lost probably a month and a half to 2 month journey
