Really good video and informative. Just got my first kayak, and plan to try the dam. Were you able to land fishes very time. It's quite hard for me to just catch one bass, maybe need to learn more skills.
Thanks mate! Hopefully you can get onto a few fish. Might be able to pick up a few rolling spinnerbaits off the weedy edges at the moment too. Time on the water and researching the bass habits will definitely help the learning curve.
Hi mate, not a stupid Question at all. Personally, I've eaten one bass from a dam and didn't enjoy it at all (plenty do) but I found it a mushy and dirty flesh. Not all are like this but it was bad enough I wouldn't worry about it.
Thanks mate. Used to do plenty of fishing inland and the rule of thumb was average eating if they are stuck in a hole - eating weeds and shite more than prey. Just wondering if it’s uncommon or not.
Some great advice there. I use those techniques myself also. That is a very productive bank too.
It's a simple one that is very effective!
Looks like good fun! I’ve gotta get into em too! 🤙
Definitely are. By far my favourites
Omg, thats brilliant
Thanks mate 🤙

Hey mate, stupid question but do you eat any of these fish? Are they ok if grown in dams?
