They sure worked well in the Canberra and South Coast region for natives and trout.I have even caught carp on them. and up North for Jacks, Barra and trevs. @@TheHuntForBronze I will have to get some prop baits again. Thereis so much variety available now that it has been a long time since I threw one around.
@@TheHuntForBronze Yeah, bass cannot resist them. Yeblly and Cod snaffle them like lollies, brown trout will chase them for an entire retrieve, I even used to get big Silvers on them, though they are not found in the region much any more. Reddies have kinda killed their niche though. And like I said, even carp. Googong and the QBn River just below the dam was always great to flick one, never knew what you'd get.
Sick video and lure! Its awesome to see JDM and USD lures applied well to Australian waters. It can be tough to do but the results can be rewarding. Also the brand is pronounced NISH-IN-E just as an FYI. Keep it up.
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the pronunciation for the the brand too, I keep getting myself tongue tied with it! If you enjoy the US/JDM stuff, I have plenty of it on the channel on bass, toga and redfin!
Love your videos mate! Haven’t done much top water. Would it work at Lake Kurwongbah or is it more for creeks? Can you suggest creeks around Brissy to try for bass?
Thanks mate, definitely would work at Kbah, I had a topwater session there 2 weeks ago! Honestly any creek that has eventual access to salt water will have bass in them! Best part is just getting out and exploring them!
Hey mate, thank you for the kind words, however I don't disclose bass river locations, it's not fair to many people who's local it is or who have put in hard work on these systems. If I'm honest with you bass fishing rivers is all about getting out and exploring. Find a creek or river that runs fresh to salt and there will be bass there (in their natural range). I have lost count of the amount of times I've gone and driven over a river, decided to fish it the following week and caught fish. It's just about giving it a go! In terms of the kayak it's the drop bear 360 I think. I have done a review video on the Channel previously about it
How good is all day topwater!
The absolute best. I reckon my choice of topwater will beat yours but
Been a fan of bladed top water minnows since the Heddon Torpedo back in the 80s. Catches everything on the day.
The Heddon torpedo is an absolute classic, for some reason I could never catch on them to their potential! I wish I could, I love em 😅
