The next *big* step for saving the game is absolutely playing into the identity of The Finals. Monthly regional open cashout tournaments with real cash prizes, enough to draw attention on Twitch, let’s say $10 grand. A bigger focus on casual modes like Big Team Battle and Capture the Flag. Custom games for the community to utilize the sandbox. Of course the linchpin in all this is bringing back ranked cashout as the primary competitive experience in The Finals.
I still cannot believe that the devs refused to see the elephant in the room that is the identity of the game itself in order to experiment for no reason and improvise things on the fly without a road map.

this! They have the ideal lore wise foundation to have an immersive tournament and can breach out in so many directions. If they will do it right (and overall i think they will but slowly,) they have a massive cash cow here. They can get away with silly gadgets and weapons, massive creational freedom in terms of loadouts and therefore no one meta beats all, awesome customization a still pretty optimistic commuity and the game itself allows to have casual and ranked gamers have fun. They just have to come out of the we balance this and that thing back and forth season after season mentality but instead go hard on the things THiiXY suggested in this video, add more social options like a actively joinable commuity area (like the trtaining ground) which looks like the "tournament registration with hangout area where you show your main class and atm loadout over your head, can chat and easy group up with randoms and go through a big door to the "arena" (so maybe people will feel more at ease to use mics f.e.) and they have to invest money in advertisment. Everybody hates ads but they have to reach a bigger audience and show there game more aggressively. Big ad campaign + professional organized events on twitch + low social interaction hurdle and we would see a lot of new players soon
I would say just leave everything else and try to balance every weapons, specials, and utilities to the point where I just have to choose my favorite gun and not worry about not playing the meta. I know, it is too much to ask but this should be implemented to some extent.

Excellent video - I sent the devs some notes a few weeks ago on what the spectator UI could use and you've listed a lot of the ideas I also gave (+much more). One of the key things not mentioned in this video which I think is needed for a clean viewing experience as a caster is to have a readable killfeed too which accounts for the possibility of multiple teamfights.

This is such a well detailed video with so many good ideas. Its nice to finally find a UA-camr worth subscribing to and not some clickbait zero-effort loudmouth.
Nice ideas! However I think there is a much more efficient way than adding UI elements directly into the game. Instead, they could provide hud-less streams of the player views and add game state integration (or even a public API) to the finals. This would allow anyone to create the UI overlay they want from the in game events being streamed software side. I believe it's how it's done in counter strike tournament for example, every organizer have their own ui overlay plugged into the game state. This would also save a lot of ui work on embark's side and bring much more flexibility!
I like all of these changes :D Also, please embark, don't hesitate to reach out to the community. Again, we only wish success for this game and we're here to help. Please let us talk to you xD.
I think it would be really cool if there was the option to disable the in game commentators and change the team names to custom and everything, and then june and scotty would explain to the audience that they are handing the show over to a new sponser made for esports or maybe that CNS is taking over the match brodcast and then the game plays out as set by the new custom match rules.
The main thing I would like the most in terms of potentially simple changes would involve the use of keybinds for easier POV-switching. As much as I'm already used to spectating the FPL, it gets very hectic trying to quickly switch POVs to someone doing a massive team-wipe and figuring out if they'll be next in line for the scroll-wheel.
im a software developer, i love the finals, i don’t mind automating that whole score updating for you. Ill work on it in my own time and then come back when its done.
Collaborations with other games, it's literally still within the lore. They could put real ads since it's technically a game show. Go out of their way to create weapons, skill, and gadgets outside of reality. And a THiiXY body pillow cosmetic.
I want to see them add more weather options like a tornado, maybe a thunderstorm or some other cool stuff. They have an alien attack so maybe take it to outter space? That’d be dope. Im sure they could do an underwater theme or something too, so much potential!
1v1s ans 3v3s with smaller maps, a game mode where everyone has the same load out. Give the whole lobby 3 options and pick one based on voting and use it for the whole match. We would be able to use weapons that don't get commonly used like swords and throwing knives
During free cam all characters should be outlined and visible through walls to make them easier to track. Each team should have a predetermined color so that during first person view and switching between teams it's not always blue.
Yes and I noticed that the statues for in player povs are also the colours of the players team, rather than the spectator POVs team. For example, we see team blue but the statue is Orange aha
I think the Light is one of the game’s biggest issues right now. I don’t mind the light as a role in the team, but I don’t like that their whole purpose is to be annoying. The light in the current form is not fun to play against and frustrating to play as most of the time since you die so easily. When you get a light on your teammate most people roll their eyes and think “well I guess it’s just up me and the other teammate to clutch up and keep the Light alive.” IMO the light needs more abilities/gadgets that are focused on helping the team. The teleporters are good for that and the invisible bomb counts as well, but otherwise the light is solely focused on damage output. I think it’d be great to give the light a stim gadget where you can inject yourself to heal for like half health and get a boost in jump height for a bit or shoot a teammate to give that to them. I also think that the abilities that make players invisible are so stupid. I hate them in every game except for Halo since you have to fight for the one camo on the map, and just like abilities that let you see through walls I think it’s kind of lazy design. Which is why I was glad when they took out the walls ability for medium and replaced it with dematerializer. I can think of my own suggestions, but overall I just think they need to put attention toward making the light more team oriented, more fun to play against, and less squishy(even if that means adjusting damage output) because as it stands, the matches that are the most fun and the most exciting are the ones where no teams have a Light player.
i recently started rewatching a favorite anime called World Trigger and i really think this game is just the video game version of that show in the ending of the first season and most of the second season and third there are these games called Rank Wars and the anime explains it more but some of the stuff they do in that show already like i said is like the game but taking more inspiration i think would be outerworldy! i say give it a few looks on some youtube clips with your opinions !
Would it not be better to make it where there’s only one cash out station in the cash out game mode? At least for the viewers it’d be much easier to follow
I was thinking of a solution to try and fix the 3rd partying problem. What if every steal of a cashbox provided 10% of the cash to the team who stole it. Therefore the box loses value everytime it's stolen and discourages the constant fighting over a single box. This wouldn't completely remove the 3rd partying strategy, but make it less desirable. What do you guys think?
Hmm that could also be a good step forward, I still thought about maybe keeping in the team wipe mechanic maybe lowering it from 30% to 15% or reworking that part of it
Ditching the cardboard box like one of the street fighter gang members is a good start. But I think the ones you really have to convince are Nexon. Because Nexon probably ain't interested in APIs and whatever else when the player numbers aren't where they want them to be.
ahaha that cardboard box meme lasted way too long so I was like hell nah time to switch it up :D And yeah that's also a good point, not sure what level of freedom Embark have with things like that, maybe it's not so bad because I did hear that Embark are looking to improve certain things (hence why they made a forum for feedback - and private matches was also another thing they wanted feedback on)
@@unbidabyss2903oh for sure! This game is a labour of love and it shows in how far out of the standard formula it’s gone and still works so fantastically!
embark pls add api for private matches so we can stream live match data if thats not possible simpler api to get match results but with events such as who eliminated who with what weapon who deposited etc. events in log would ideally be timestamped too
Game dev programmer here. I think you might have your terminology a bit mixed up or I'm not understanding what you are trying to say. The API is the method used to access the data. You're making the assumption the data exists. Game recordings for example; that feature needs to be added first. While Unreal engine has some very basic game recording features built-in, it would take time and effort to fully implement that feature. I absolutely agree, this game needs recordings built-in
Thanks for clarifying! I thought that, for example the data existed when collecting stats to display on the leaderboard, and then the API would allow a source to "call" upon that data and relay it to XYZ (custom overlay tools) but if that's mistaken and more so from game recording features then I can understand that now. Hopefully THE FINALS adds recording in to allow us to pull eliminations, combat score etc etc. I know API's would take a tonne of time, which is why I said this was a reference video at the start :) Thanks for watching too!
@@THiiXY Ah I understand now. I got thrown off subject when game recordings came up. You are correct about the leaderboard info. Any stats or data being saved on their back-end can be pulled via an API if they put one in place and if their BaaS allows it.
I think a huge and easy io implement quick fix to in house spectating would be a simple "multi view" toggle that shows a player from each team via split screen. also a keybind or option to switch to 3rd person while spectating edit: while i hate to just be lazy and point to another game to copy features from I'm jus gonna say it. Embark, please steal all the features and options from OW2 custom modes.
Yup, I've heard it's a big one but I feel that the benefits of it do dividends to the community - or make it private match creator requested only so it's easier? Not sure :L
Well don't forget this was also mentioning Private Matches. I didn't want to make a video on balance etc because everyone's talking about it, I feel that community grows games and more events, sponsored events etc fuels more interest :)
As stated in the video, higher production tech teams to capture moments/highlights whilst or if there is secondary action happening in the background, for example; - Cashout A being stolen by the current "top" team (most potential/interest for viewer) on main screen whilst Cashout B being stolen or important fight on cashout B. - Replay camera would utilize the "after the fact" situation once the main screen/feed has finished it's action (maybe a team wipe) - Casters can then direct the viewer "and whilst X team was fighting, earlier on THIS happened..." and replay would show. Also thanks for watching!
also, I know it's probably never gonna happen, but imagine community servers... 1h Solo Bank It matches with 12 players on Sys Horizon... 80 000$ Quick Cash matches with only red barrels... possibilities are endless
the finals being so far from its peak playercount doesnt make sense to me, i dont know if its just because i play casual but its the only live service fps that ive EVER enjoyed.
Embark plz fix😉. The suggestions are all good but it will need a lot of man power i think from embark and they need to open the game up for the community which not a lot of companies want to do
Yeah that's another thing too, communities make some damn awesome stuff it's wild but I think Embark kind of want to be a little bit like the "Apple" of FPS games, where everything is more so closed - but it's flush and looks good...
Bro If you know 8XAC then you know. And also CUSTOM GEIMSSSSSSS! BTW the ui, when you watch it a lot it basicly disapears, I don't even notice it after watching like 4 hours THey should make a spectating menue for key bind so we can assign tem ourselves
That would be sick, I know they had some VR tech a while back for games like Dota 2 where you could actually "appear" in the match or see the map on a table with AR for example, would be crazy with THE FINALS!
8:09 honestly, i wouldn't leak the code ever. skill issue on ur part and i will continue to clip u leak every single code. dont break the 4 week streak now!
Nice idea! Just checking, what would the people watch say if there was an on-stage experience? Of course within something like an arena or smaller convention, mainly with one big screen, we can't have casters etc talking over eachother for each perspective, ty.
I created a bot that scans the image and it's within 95% accurate, the only time is when someone has a special character in their name like a Spanish name for example, but then if you really want to, you can just tell it in the prompt to "remember to display special characters like X" and then it's 100% :)
Reasons I'm seeing for little success: The game isn't able to run on anything. I can run it, but overwatch or val can run on half the machine of the minimum finals specs I swear. The characters. Can I call them that? It's a fat guy, a light guy, and an average guy... Sure, this allows creativity for skins. Usually people buy skins for characters they fell in love with though... I don't think this decision was good. Game modes. Why did they think terminal attack would've worked as the main game mode? Did they play it? Moving on. I think games like overwatch do well with multiple game modes. Do that. It's a simple recipe if you already made the modes... Oh, power shift isn't competitive? Well it's my favorite, simply because it's one team vs another, and I can't find any fun in 3rd partying. I'd enjoy it if they try to tweak the game mode to make it competitively viable, whilst keeping it fun (fun required add on for terminal attack id argue) Maybe these takes are harsh. I love the game in power shift utilizing the gun play, but if you're not in love with the gunplay, I can't think of what you'd love with this game. There should be more, like characters or game formats.
I think the community can have some really amazing sides, for example a lot of them in here giving feedback, but I do agree that people hold THE FINALS to the same standards as a paid $60 COD title. Time & patience and we will be there.
I think Embarks priority has always been the casual side of the game, they had their issues with ranked cashout and are now trying to improve it in world tour, and they brought in terminal attack as the competitive mode because SND has already proven to be a good competitve mode while cashout hasnt gotten there yet. I think all these suggested changes (great suggestions btw) will come in after either terminal attack gets enough attention and streamed events (doubt) or they feel cashout is in a good enough position to be a good competitve mode, which will take some work.
Terminal Attack is not a good competitive game mode because it isn't even a good SnD game mode in the first place. The map design is too open, the maps itself are too big, the maps not only do not have 3 lanes but sometimes they have 10 of them. Oh, and of course, TA doesn't even fit into the identity of the finals (Are there even "finals" in TA??) Terminal Attack is to SnD what Mario Kart is to the Racing genre.
@@nonr.2347 Correct, the implementation felt rushed and the main point I was trying to get across was how SnD was a tried and tested ranked mode while cashout wasnt, however you are right in pointing out that their implementation in Terminal Attack didnt live up to those standards, especially when you look at CS and how them adding a single box to a map has such drastic changes on the dynamic of the game, like thats another level of balance, respect
Bro it’s literally a game show, esports is such a easy concept you can have winners and losers bracket play it ranked tournament status have a point system compared to apex’s esport where first place winners get points, they have the ability to make these “ranked tournamentL lobbies with as many players as they need to put into the lobby
custom matches do so much more than pave the way for esports though. They make community for streamers easier to build, they allow friend groups to easily play games together. It also allows a framework for events and other systems. There is so much benefit to having a robust custom lobby system, it's not just for esports

Yeah exactly, having to scroll through each player is really a pain lol
I hope embarks listens to all these points, the video is great and i agree with all of the spectator ideas
Thanks Stranger
im a software developer, i love the finals, i don’t mind automating that whole score updating for you. Ill work on it in my own time and then come back when its done.
i also have adhd so i might forget about it. Although the adderall i have now will certainly help
Collaborations with other games, it's literally still within the lore. They could put real ads since it's technically a game show. Go out of their way to create weapons, skill, and gadgets outside of reality.
And a THiiXY body pillow cosmetic.
ahahaha I wasn't ready for that "read more" damn it :D
I want to see them add more weather options like a tornado, maybe a thunderstorm or some other cool stuff. They have an alien attack so maybe take it to outter space? That’d be dope. Im sure they could do an underwater theme or something too, so much potential!
Duuuudee tornado would be insane ahaha
1v1s ans 3v3s with smaller maps, a game mode where everyone has the same load out. Give the whole lobby 3 options and pick one based on voting and use it for the whole match. We would be able to use weapons that don't get commonly used like swords and throwing knives
Yeah a lot of cool things that could be added in to really bolster the community side of things :)
Needs more details like the currently held equipment or action being done in the same spot along with the ability being visible.
100% that's a good idea too, maybe instead of where it says R.357 it can change to whatever is the currently equipped item :)
Custom games would be huge tbh. Untapped potential honestly could be so fun 24/7 low gravity etc. could be chaotic and a ffa game mode
100% and I'm excited for when they eventually add it in :)
Also, what music do you have in the video? It's so cool
Good points. Let’s see what the destruction server side technology can allow though!
Anyways : best game I’ve ever played
100% that's a good point too that I should have raised - how server side destruction could change it up in difficulty of getting it to work etc
We don't wanna turn this game into cod but I think a limited time mode 10v10 domination would be sick
he just doesnt stop cooking. embark hire this man
Ahaha thank you tj as always
14:53 New icons look nice - Have you seen the Pyro grenade icon?
I really like the updates they've done with them very clean!
@@THiiXY Damn, I thought most people preffered Season 2 Icons
Its so cool how u make the UI that looks like what it would be in game 👀
Thanks! Yea as I said it's a rough kind of template or so etc I know Embark would do a better job haha
More variety and better balancing with weapons, gadgets etc.
Shoutout to Z847, gotta be one of my favorite lobby codes to yell into chat
I think the Light is one of the game’s biggest issues right now. I don’t mind the light as a role in the team, but I don’t like that their whole purpose is to be annoying. The light in the current form is not fun to play against and frustrating to play as most of the time since you die so easily. When you get a light on your teammate most people roll their eyes and think “well I guess it’s just up me and the other teammate to clutch up and keep the Light alive.”
IMO the light needs more abilities/gadgets that are focused on helping the team.
I can think of my own suggestions, but overall I just think they need to put attention toward making the light more team oriented, more fun to play against, and less squishy(even if that means adjusting damage output) because as it stands, the matches that are the most fun and the most exciting are the ones where no teams have a Light player.
i recently started rewatching a favorite anime called World Trigger and i really think this game is just the video game version of that show
in the ending of the first season and most of the second season and third there are these games called Rank Wars and the anime explains it more but some of the stuff they do in that show already like i said is like the game but taking more inspiration i think would be outerworldy! i say give it a few looks on some youtube clips with your opinions !
Sure! I don't want anime but I'm down to take a look into it to see the similarities :D Thanks for watching too!
14:33 this looks really good and in esports instead of the avat there could be the players face like it is in cs2
100% and I think that this is what I was sort of showing with adding the player card you could put a player there instead :)
It would be really nice to have a small box in the top right showing the other cash out/fights
100% I think picture in picture is cool but would need more of a tech / production side
@@THiiXY yeah it probably isn't something embark can do but it would definitely help fix one of the esport problems
best finals creator
Thanks Snaggy
They could buff melee too, and add a massive scale team death match
damn the backround music is a vibe? where can i find that?
Thanks! I'll update my description with the list of tracks shortly :)
Would it not be better to make it where there’s only one cash out station in the cash out game mode? At least for the viewers it’d be much easier to follow
in ThiiXY we trust
I was thinking of a solution to try and fix the 3rd partying problem. What if every steal of a cashbox provided 10% of the cash to the team who stole it. Therefore the box loses value everytime it's stolen and discourages the constant fighting over a single box. This wouldn't completely remove the 3rd partying strategy, but make it less desirable. What do you guys think?
Hmm that could also be a good step forward, I still thought about maybe keeping in the team wipe mechanic maybe lowering it from 30% to 15% or reworking that part of it
They should employ you 🔥🔥broo always thoughtful bro great review
Ahaha maybe one day lol, I appreciate you supporting as always
Ditching the cardboard box like one of the street fighter gang members is a good start.
But I think the ones you really have to convince are Nexon. Because Nexon probably ain't interested in APIs and whatever else when the player numbers aren't where they want them to be.
ahaha that cardboard box meme lasted way too long so I was like hell nah time to switch it up :D
And yeah that's also a good point, not sure what level of freedom Embark have with things like that, maybe it's not so bad because I did hear that Embark are looking to improve certain things (hence why they made a forum for feedback - and private matches was also another thing they wanted feedback on)
@@THiiXY Despite what some on the discord might tell you, Embark Studios are, in fact, interested in making a good videogame.
@@unbidabyss2903oh for sure! This game is a labour of love and it shows in how far out of the standard formula it’s gone and still works so fantastically!
This game is underrated
100% - sure I know there was some clashes with the changes, but even at this point it still is.
embark pls add api for private matches so we can stream live match data if thats not possible simpler api to get match results but with events such as who eliminated who with what weapon who deposited etc. events in log would ideally be timestamped too
100% api for private matches would be soo sick but maybe more of a long term project
I think a huge and easy io implement quick fix to in house spectating would be a simple "multi view" toggle that shows a player from each team via split screen. also a keybind or option to switch to 3rd person while spectating
edit: while i hate to just be lazy and point to another game to copy features from I'm jus gonna say it. Embark, please steal all the features and options from OW2 custom modes.
Ahaha hey if a game has good features you might as well take inspiration from it lol Thanks for watching!
8XAC GANG!!
Maintaining an API is a nightmare! especially making up to date documentation.
Yup, I've heard it's a big one but I feel that the benefits of it do dividends to the community - or make it private match creator requested only so it's easier? Not sure :L
I don't know if a better specator mode is the next really big step
Well don't forget this was also mentioning Private Matches. I didn't want to make a video on balance etc because everyone's talking about it, I feel that community grows games and more events, sponsored events etc fuels more interest :)
Very good video 👍❤
Devision B not mentioned :(
But a very good video 👍❤
Thanks Mikoaj for watching!
"too many teams to watch" isn't that the exact same situation, but way less problematic, as professional Apex or Warzone? how do they fix this issue?
As stated in the video, higher production tech teams to capture moments/highlights whilst or if there is secondary action happening in the background, for example;
- Cashout A being stolen by the current "top" team (most potential/interest for viewer) on main screen whilst Cashout B being stolen or important fight on cashout B.
- Replay camera would utilize the "after the fact" situation once the main screen/feed has finished it's action (maybe a team wipe)
- Casters can then direct the viewer "and whilst X team was fighting, earlier on THIS happened..." and replay would show.
Also thanks for watching!
I didnt know they added private games. Time to get my mates on!
Yeah for sure, it's at its early stages but works very well for what it is at the moment :) They will improve on it too! Hope you all enjoy!
@@THiiXY thanks man
Maybe you can become the observer in future big event, it'll be exciting
Hmm I don't know if I have the expertise for it, I'm sure you guys are way more talented than me with this stuff haha :D
I want a game show tournament no elimination and we change game modes every round that way the team with the best overall score wins
That's sort of how I run my FPL league, the chat votes on the game mode from PowerShift to Cashout and we score points that way :)
16:20 YES this looks way better :)
its cleaaaaaaaan
You’re the forefront of The Finals
Aha, I don't really focus on that stuff but I'm still grateful to have people tuning in to watch! :)
I need a combat record like the one in Black Ops II
Yes that's a great example actually!!
also, I know it's probably never gonna happen, but imagine community servers... 1h Solo Bank It matches with 12 players on Sys Horizon... 80 000$ Quick Cash matches with only red barrels... possibilities are endless
ahaha yessss, that's moreso things like Custom Games etc but if THE FINALS decided to go more so "open" these things would be very cool :)
somebody tag Oscar or someone from the embark team , cuz this man speaking gold
Ahaha thank you for watching! I'm sure someone will get them over :D
the finals being so far from its peak playercount doesnt make sense to me, i dont know if its just because i play casual but its the only live service fps that ive EVER enjoyed.
Same, I know there's been a few "slips" but the game as a core casually is really good, probably up there with one of the best...
I want team wipe spectator to be upgrade to custom match spectator. It is easy to make then kill cam and easy to catch cheaters.
8:10 NO WAY 8XAC MENTIONED AGAIN LMAOOOOOOOO
8XACTLY! 6:25
certified 8XAC moment
8XAC rise up
Embark plz fix😉.
I've always thought a system like rocket league would be good, player list at the bottom with different viewing options and free cams
Oooo that's also a good one as well, I should have mentioned rocket league, underrated events that they put on, fun to watch!
Splitscreen 2 fights or 1 fight from 2 POVs
Yup that's a good example too!
@@THiiXY not much of a deal, theres comps with like 16 teams and they try to put it all there. Some live, some in the highlights after the match
Revert the recoil change for lewis gun!!!
We'll find a way to leak this lobby code.. we'll find a way..
nooooOOOOOOOOOO :D
Bro If you know 8XAC then you know.
And also CUSTOM GEIMSSSSSSS!
BTW the ui, when you watch it a lot it basicly disapears, I don't even notice it after watching like 4 hours
THey should make a spectating menue for key bind so we can assign tem ourselves
Yeah I think a new UI for a refresher with Private Matches etc would be very nice
Lower the respawn rate on casual game modes
Yeah I like the changes they made to BankIt to be fair
I guess i could be a big ahh update that could change the game completely
You could be! (I think you had a spelling mistake aha) thanks for watching!
@@THiiXY lol my bad I've had alot of autocorrect probs recently
Love this game but it is full of bugs! One is fixed second one is not! Hope they will fix it all...
This game is never ment to be taken competitively. It is casual af
At it's core yes, but every game has a competitive side or scene to it in some degree - even GeoGuesser hosts esports/lan tournaments.
Make the viewer be able to sit on the actual game tribune they have on the maps. Just bring it a bit closer.
That would be sick, I know they had some VR tech a while back for games like Dota 2 where you could actually "appear" in the match or see the map on a table with AR for example, would be crazy with THE FINALS!
Unknown icbm'ed a second time lol
kek
Us console players won't leave, and I believe in you pc players to keep the game known.
Ahaha yes every platform is just as important :)

honestly, i wouldn't leak the code ever. skill issue on ur part and i will continue to clip u leak every single code. dont break the 4 week streak now!
Code hidden feature keeps the Dom away :)
@@THiiXY HE KNOWS MY WEAKNESS!
Easy, 4 spectators, each following their team, and we the watchers can choose which one of those to follow to watch, at any point of the game, ty.
Nice idea! Just checking, what would the people watch say if there was an on-stage experience? Of course within something like an arena or smaller convention, mainly with one big screen, we can't have casters etc talking over eachother for each perspective, ty.
Also, you will not be getting accurate data from chat gpt unfortunately
I created a bot that scans the image and it's within 95% accurate, the only time is when someone has a special character in their name like a Spanish name for example, but then if you really want to, you can just tell it in the prompt to "remember to display special characters like X" and then it's 100% :)
Love the ideas, but I think all of this dev time would be much better spent on deleting RPG
Hi
Sup sup!
Reasons I'm seeing for little success:
The game isn't able to run on anything.
I'd enjoy it if they try to tweak the game mode to make it competitively viable, whilst keeping it fun (fun required add on for terminal attack id argue)
Maybe these takes are harsh. I love the game in power shift utilizing the gun play, but if you're not in love with the gunplay, I can't think of what you'd love with this game. There should be more, like characters or game formats.
This game is amazing and if it dies we shall defib
I'll get the healing beam ready!
Love the game and always will but the community is pretty awful
Oh, and of course, TA doesn't even fit into the identity of the finals (Are there even "finals" in TA??)
Terminal Attack is to SnD what Mario Kart is to the Racing genre.
Imo eSports isn't the play for this game
Bro it’s literally a game show, esports is such a easy concept you can have winners and losers bracket play it ranked tournament status have a point system compared to apex’s esport where first place winners get points, they have the ability to make these “ranked tournamentL lobbies with as many players as they need to put into the lobby
custom matches do so much more than pave the way for esports though. They make community for streamers easier to build, they allow friend groups to easily play games together. It also allows a framework for events and other systems.
There is so much benefit to having a robust custom lobby system, it's not just for esports
