Dude this ROM saved my sm 561m tablet ... best ROM I've ever put on it, amazing! all the others, had bugs and mainly problems with the battery "little durability" ... this ROM is incredible !! Great job, please whenever you update other tones like this, put it here. big hug!!

I have to say that your video saved the day, I was stuck since the other instructions I found where not very clear about a couple minor points that make the major difference. The tip about unchecking auto-reboot in Odin and how to reboot after installing TWRP (the many finger trick press all darn buttons!) saved the day. Literally, saved the day. So kudos to you.

Brilliant! Took me forever to install, but that's all down to me not being savvy! My old Tab E was useless as nothing was supported, but now it's flying! Other than the brief moment when I couldn't find the ROM it was so easy to follow. Well played man!

Fantastic bud when I first got my tablet it was ace but then about a month after. I got it they stopped the updates, so it just sat in a draw till I was scrolling on UA-cam and for your video, so I blew the dust off of it, and now it has a new lease of life thanks man

My SM-T561 Tab E? Back from the Android 4.4.4 graveyard, baby!!!. Bluetooth is a bit iffy, but not a problem for me. For anyone trying this out on a T561 i'd reccommend going through the XDA developers' site given in the descriptions once, they might have troubleshooted this issue in later versions.
Ngl, for a moment there i almost shat myself when I got stuck on a bootloop. Having known you'd already uploaded a vid to unbrick the device was a great motivation for me to go through with this. I flashed it again And before I knew it, I had a revived tablet running on a sexy custom ROM.

The only bug I'm getting is with brightness. Once I touch auto brightness I can't change brightness again

Aos brasileiros que utilizam o Lineage OS 14.1 e que estavam tendo problema com a memória do tablet reconhecendo 671mb, essa room da Viper reconhece os 1.5GB normalmente.

How tp fix audio bugs
Hey, thanks for the video! It helped me a lot! However, my wifi stopped working after installing the ROM. Can someone help?
I tried this ROM (ViperOS), and also LineageOS and DotOS, but all result in the same problem.
When I try to connect, the wifi label blinks and says "Saved", or sometimes "Authorization fail". No matter how many times I try, it never connects. Trough my modem manager app, I can see the device connecting for less than a second and than disconnecting. I don't think it's hardware problem, since wifi was working fine with original firmware.

Thanks so much .I needed a step by step approach as I'd never done this before... I was fed up of "unsupported" and " no more updates" .UA-cam app wouldn't load , said I had to watch on chrome or nothing .Took the plunge and installed it . works great ! Looking forward to the next upgrade ! Cheers

Great job! In T560 i just needed to install a zip of magisk manager to get root acess garanted and disable the ipv6 on wifi connection in reason of randomly disconections, (a knowed bug in android nougat in ipv6 hosts, not specific of that rom) with a ordinary script. Very useful, with great quality in stream reproduction, great managing of ram and smoothly battery consumption without stucks.

Worked great, only problem i had is that i downloaded the TWRP 3.1.1-1 version , and when i wanted to enter de TWRP menu it just didnt. I just had to use the 3.0.2-1 version thats listed in the description.

Wow cool I'm so glad I spent 30 minutes following this video and downloading all the files only for the Kies download to, for NO REASON, not work, and when I try to download it from another place, I cannot run as administrator (I am definitely the admin and ONLY user of this PC). All this while my tablet is trying to download odin and I'm pretty sure it's bricked. Fantastic, I really just love Windows so very much.

I have a problem with my Samsung Tab E. When I start it it says Firmware upgrade encountered an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again. But when I open Kies and connect it it says device not responding. Restart the device and try again. I tried to restart it much times and it still doesn't work.

Once I get to the part where I have to put the twrp thing in Odin and hit START, it's suppoed to turn green but mine turns red and says FAILED. Tablet says "Custom Binary(recovery) Blocked by FRP lock" What do I dooo
I've got exactly the same problem. Now it is working. Download winRAR. Seems that it it necessary to have a programe which is able to unpack .tar files. This helped for me.
@@Niccocia I googled and was able to learn that I had to remove all users (google accounts) from the tablet and then the FRP lock was deactivated.
However, I was unable to finish this whole process because one of the following steps didn't work out on my tablet so now I have no clue what to do 😂😭 (I'm pretty tech challenged). Oh well
Got this installed now. Prefer this over the DotOS. Thanks the old tab has been revived. 😁

@@karu_official_yt viper is very stable However I'm using dot os and it's also stable I haven't had any problems with it,and about updates yes the ROMs should have been update since making the video check XDA for download links

Great Video. Have followed it and all works. Can you encrypt the device. Every time that I try it either freezes the system and I have to start again or it goes into a boot cycle
This is great and much better than Lineage OS that was restricting memory to only 750 MB. Istill have issues with the Bluetooth but maybe its something else.

Yes, I am facing troubles. Seems like my device is unstable anymore. It restarts itself just after 20 seconds and repeat it.

Hello again bruv great stuff you do great instuctions and advice to... I downloaded and installed linage and rooted last year it works well I was wondering if I want to install viper do I need to factory reset my tab e before I install viper and do I need to unroot it aswell?
Just put the files on sd storage then boot into twrp do a factory reset install the rom & gapps then reboot👍

i almost bricked my tab, at the begining, it was ok, but when i tried to plug mi piano keyboard to synthesia, nothing happened, and then i tried some combination of versions of rooms or openg. and nothing, in the end i almost bricked my tab, doing some noob and foolish stuff like super wiping, anyways, i researched a bit and ended recovering with odin. do you know why it didnt worked? it never recognized the micro usb, when before me putting the rom was something quite normal

Hello. I installed it according to the tutorial. However there is a bug in the brightness, if you activate the automatic brightness the brightness level no longer works. Getting blocked. Is there a fix?
