    This has nothing to do with bench pressing lol but a few months ago I had commented on one of your posts about my boyfriend having stage 3 cancer and how he couldn't wait to get back to the gym with me! You told me to keep you updated, whether you genuinely want to know or if you were just being nice (no vendetta if you were just being nice btw) but he just had his final operation Wednesday! He's still in the hospital recovering, but in 6-8 weeks you can bet he'll be back at the gym! Hooray for remission!

    Inspired by the challenge, I attempted it immediately, with a spotter, and a lot of help, I managed to do 225x100 in 57:31. Today, on my fourth attempt, once per week, I managed 25:37 and am elated. I didn’t record a video only because I wasn’t touching under 15 min. Thanks for the inspiration! You’re the man Steve, keep these challenges coming.

    And here I am just working towards hitting my body weight for one rep... only been going to the gym seriously for about 3-4 months now though. Definitely a goal to work towards. Might be too late for the challenge, but I'll get to this eventually!

    Beastman and Skeletor. Nice work by both of you indeed!! Intensity on the edge, volume, effort, endurance...it's all in there. I finish my chest day sometimes with 135 lbs for 100 reps, trying to do as many in a row as possible and do it as quickly as possible.

    I am 47 years old...I weigh 245 and was pressed for time to get to work today (09-17-2018). For a while now i have not been able to find ANYONE to work out with. That being said, I do my heavy benching with a "slingshot." So I modified the challenge slightly. I am not in the cardio shape you 2 are in first and foremost. SO, (09-17-2018) today, I took the challenge (I utilized 225 LBS & my slingshot due to no partner). I did 100 reps in 18 minutes flat (sets of 5). Even though I used my slingshot, I was breathing harder than you guys and sweat was pouring down my face. Great workout! Thanks!

      The Bounanaz I weigh 145 and bench 135 for my max and I’m 17, haven’t even been lifting for a year. So I would say that’s pretty good especially considering your history.

    Never intended on coming back to this video, but i decided to try this challenge to spice up my chest routine. I’m 156, 5’7 around 13% body fat, so i did 135lbs (never couldve done 155 for 100). Done in 17:49. Fun ass challenge! Choked it at 84 and had to do a stomach roll but i pulled thru.

    I'm 225lbs bodyweight, tried this challenge and only made it to 70 reps which took 10 minutes....fail LOL. Literally couldn't do a single rep more.

    I'm 61 30 yrs ago I was benching 225 for reps, I weighed 185. Now I've started seriously lifting again my first time going little heavy I could barely get 135 off my chest. I weigh 225 now, I've been lifting 3 months now and just tried 175 and no go so I've got long way to go to benching my weight now! I will not stop though ,don't know at my age if I can but I won't stop!

    Besides this being a really fun challenge. It's a great way to workout when time restricted. Do 100 reps in as little sets as possible for the bench, rest 5 mins, then do the same thing with like a T-Bar row (the opposite muscle group)
    Rinse and repeat and train your whole body in the week. Maybe even train each muscle group multiple times in the week, short sessions but with a high frequency

    Just saw this in my recommended videos. I guess google knows something I don't. Because I don't watch fitness videos nor do I lift, and I'm a couch potato. Yet if this challenge is still open I would love to take this challenge and hopefully show you both how it's done. Get back to me on this as I will have to sweet talk someone at a gym to allow to come in and attempt this one time. Sounds fun, can't wait.

      Sebastiaan Ultee no, but I really think it’s the on and off nature of my training, which is admittedly sometimes due to laziness or lack of motivation. For example last October I got mono and had to stop lifting for a month, and I haven’t lifted in the past 2 weeks because I’ve been doing renovations on my house

    16 minutes @185. Not thrilled but I’ll work on it. I’m a keto lifter who did the challenge on an 18 hour fast. I followed the challenge but immediately did the same with body weight dips. Great change of pace workout.

      Brock Krushlucki it’s pretty brutal. I just did it today but there just seems some people have it easier than others. I only weigh 185 but look like I weigh well over 200 lbs. Keep at it, though. I think most of us tend to ignore doing lighter weight for high reps when it comes to traditionally heavy, compound lifts. I’m doing this every other week for now on.

      na. i aint beating that time but at 175 lb i can do my bodyweight 100 reps at 10x10 in about 15 min. crazy pump. i do this on type shit on chest days

      Good for you, man. All about form. It's not about the weight you can lift. It's about the weight you can lift compared to what you lifted months ago. If you lifted 135 2 months ago, then no props. It's all about improvement.
