Sooner & Later

I wrote this piece and produced the video for the metropolis ensemble Virtual Free Assembly Fest, which aired last Tuesday October 27th . The piece features Paul Wiancko on Cello, and Ayane Kozasa on viola. The video was shot by Courtney Watson.
This is dedicate to all of the young parents out there balancing their lives wile raising young children. It's tough to say the least!
During the quarantine (if we are even still calling it that) Ive had to restructure, and amend my everyday schedule to accommodate my now 3 year old daughter. She started going to daycare recently, but for the most part of this year she's been attached to my hip every. single. day. So that means homeschool, home play, home everything.
It can be aggravating, stressful, and taxing. But it's also quite rewarding when you are able to create works around and through your current condition.
Sooner and Later speaks to the time we have been gifted to spend with our children, with our loved ones, and most importantly with OURSELVES.
