Janets sculptures at the end were so fun to see. Such imagination! I also loved the two pieces she gave you. The Halloween 🎃 and Alice in Wonderland. ❤
What beautiful gifts from Janet
Yep!
Lois Wilson and Ramon Novarro were Hollywood film stars in the golden age. Mr. Navarro was tragically murdered. An interesting set of spoons and a wonderful haul. TFS.
One strange thing about Mr. Navarro was that he was thought to have been murdered on Halloween. I don't know about Lois Wilson being an old film star, but there was a Lois Wilson that was the co-founder of Al-Anon.
There was also a Lois Wilson who was a silent film star. Per Wikipedia, she died at the age of 93.
@@elaineplate8921 I love learning new things! Thank you!
I googled them after I filmed. I saw they were actors but didn’t delve any deeper. That’s awful about Novarro.
I purchased a sculpture from Parts to Pieces, and I just love it! What a wonderful friend to give you so many goodies! Enjoy your holiday weekend!
That’s great. What was the theme of the sculpture?

Janet has to be the nicest person..slot of really throughout pieces& so neat.Im sure you will find use for everything. Wow! Silverware..so cool! We got rid of all the sets our family had& just kept the extras( a few really neat ones).Everyone needs a friend like Janet😊. Take care& enjoy your day!!❤
The tile looks like it’s an antique ink blotter. It would have had felt on the bottom. ❤. I have one of those large apothecary jars, just like yours! I bought it the year I got married - 1967. It’s held a lot of different things and right now it’s full of buttons!!! The spoon with the deeper bowl could be for berries. Great treasures and so kind of Janet to give them to you. Another great video.
Holy moly, that silverware 😮
♥️♥️
Lovely treasures. 🙏🇺🇸😊🍂🍁
Thank you! 🤗
It really looks like it’s for cross stitch. The old patterns are exactly like the one you got, especially the European ones
Hello 👋,What a generous friend..I love all of your new treasures..😊
Hi Doris
😊 Hi
Omg that was amazing, like Christmas morning ❤
Yep!!
Janet gave you some real treasures. So sweet of her. I enjoy seeing all of her creations on Instagram . I love all the beautiful silver pieces , the old bottles and the book cover. Love and blessings 🧡💛🧡
So much fun to receive such a cool assortment of treasures!! Jean E. gifts me wonderful treasures often. I feel delighted and blessed! Enjoy everything from Janet!
That’s awesome! It’s fun to share our treasures.
My Dear Tarnished Treasures, those monograms are for cross stitch, and it works like this; you have your fabric, then you have to put a carbon copy paper on the fabric, and on top of it the original design of whatever you want to create on that fabric, then with a pencil or pen you need to mark (on the original pattern) every single line to make the carbon copy on the fabric, and voila! You can start your project on the fabric that you chose! I used to do that many years ago as you can see 😊
The silver items are gorgeous!! Beautiful haul thank you for sharing with us!
wonderful gifts from Janet! the silverware is awesome. i hope that brass leaf piece works out for your mirror.
As always, loved it. Our local and my favorite Vintage mall is doing classes on Assemblage. I think I'm going to sign up!
Wow!! That’s so much fun
The Sajou (blue letters) is vintage cross stitch patterns. Very cool.
I love old silverware too.👍💕
❤🌷❤
I used those wooden pegs to hang out my washing every week. No tumble dryer here!
♥️♥️
@@TarnishedTreasures1 they also come in handy to use double sided tape on the inside of cabinet doors....I have one that holds my rubber gloves when cleaning up is done.
i think maybe those pillow shams could be baby/child duvet covers …thinking of my German oma and the feather duvets they used in Germany….
Knowing the previous owner’s history, that makes sense. Thanks for the info. Seems more logical than huge pillows.
💖
Free and fabulous
Yep!
Absolutely wonderful gifts!!!
I agree!
Wow What a fabulous gift haul from Janet! Could never pick a favorite tho think the metal leaves will work perfectly for the mirror. I’ve been trying to reorganize different collection so I’m borrowing your idea of brooches on cloth pumpkin, Thanks!!
So far the pumpkin has been great for display.
😊👍👋 sweet
I love all the silverware! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Such lovely and thoughtful gifts from your creative friend! 🤍
Thank you 🤗
Oh, I love the Alice art piece!❤❤♤♡♧ I bought a large deck of cards (10 X 10) from Amazon last year, aged them, and hole punched some to make a garland for my fireplace for Valentine's Day.
Great idea!
WOW!!😮 What a wonderful friend to give you such treasures!!!! The silverware is amazing! And the other goodies especially the illustrations are just awesome! I’m not on Facebook or Instagram but a friend is I may have to have her look up Janet to buy something, neat stuff!
I do believe she has on Etsy as well. Sane name.
@@TarnishedTreasures1 Thank you, I’m going to look her up!
SO happy you liked all the treasures I passed on to you ❤Always more to give away ,bring a big bag next time c😅
Will do!! Lol
Apparently your Dunlap & Co. tile item advertised for one of New York’s finest top hat and fedora hat makers. It does look like a rocking ink blotter. It has the craftsmanship of the makers of fine surround ceramic tiles for the fireplace. So many of these manufacturers had their beginnings in drain pipes, roofing tiles, and chimney caps. My curiosity is the patte cross with what looks like a stag with a pipe. I think there is writing below it. I can’t read it. This may be an attribution to hunting. You know me and my rabbit holes.
I’m grateful for your rabbit holes!
Could you use the 2 large shams together as a table cloth or runner?
Ohhhh. Fabulous idea!
Is the tile for ink dobber
I do not know but a few people think it could be. I think it’s made like that to stand up on its own.
