The water obviously damages the power but I would assume that it would go on and off until it eventually goes off for good. It's a big ship, so I think it would take time for all of the power throughout the entire ship to be toasted. That must have been a terrifying experience! Being stuck out there in the middle of the night, in the dark, on the ocean!? Those poor souls.

Not that this is exactly relevant, but things were made much better back in those days, built to last! Look at the difference between cars back in the 60's, 70's, 80's compared to now. Cars now a day's are made of that cheap weird plastic, acrylic type of material, I don't even know what it is! Home's were built better and had character. They look like dull, boring boxes now. I'll take a 60's camaro, mustang, etc. And a nice Victorian or old farmhouse over any of this new stuff!

I think VR headsets in a designated space are the only way we'll see the ship as it was and other historical places. I also think VR models of old World Trade Center needs to be synced up to Memorial Fountains so the first complex could be seen as it was would be a great idea too.
