Yup, all CGI. You can look at BTS and see how they made him. It's amazing how this looks better than most of today's CGI (aka velociraptors in JW, orcs in The Hobbit etc.) the only complain I have is that it doesn't always match the environment and you can see it is not on the set. But besides that the level of detail to both looks and physics are incredibly done.

Recently watched this movie again after several years and fell in love with it all over again. Lucy's my favorite. She's so young and innocent and brave and faithful. She had faith in Narnia and what she'd seen on her first trip there even when her siblings were mocking and teasing her for it. If only we could all have that same faith it'd be a better world.
I watched it when I was 7! Loved it so much, my mom and I went to the theater to watch it again. It's the only film I've ever wanted to see twice at the theater!
What I really like about this scene, and that the clip ends a second before, is Peter taking responsibility for his family. He says "It's my fault, really. I was too hard on him." Which, while I'm sure he of course knows Edmund bears blame for his choice, is an extremely mature thing to do, and an important quality for a good King to see where he might have contributed to a problem. And then Susan, and the second oldest, backs up Peter. Despite their immaturity in a lot of areas, the scene subtly captures the quality of character in the Pevensie children.
Aslan's voice actor, Liam Neeson sound like your meeting God for the very first time and excellent choice for choosing a type of voice. That holds peaceful and powerful sound.
Kyle Murray I have read the books and the Bible itself and I'm close into being 20years old. Aslan does describe himself as god, because his power calls on the Sons of Adam and Daughter of Eve to our world. And he describes to Lucy he has another name in our world. The CGI on Aslan still looks freaking incredible all these years later.
