“What’s done is done. There is no need to speak to Edmund about what is past.” Brilliant! No “I’m sorry” no “it’s okay” just unspoken forgiveness! I’m now realizing how brilliant this scene is watching as an adult. It actually brings me to tears
@@fieryphoenix586 That's the problem with changing out the cast members like they did in the books. It doesn't go over well with fans who were invested in those characters. That’s because they are family. And brothers and sisters will always be there for you no matter what. You may have a lot ups and downs. But that doesn’t stop you from loving your family. Just remember “Family Above All”
Look at Edmund. He knows he did a bad thing, made a big mistake, and he knows that he shouldn't be forgiven. Yet Aslan, as well as his siblings, forgive him anyway. It's a testament to how hatred can never truly overcome a family, as their mutual bonds with each other will always remain.

That's saying Edmund had so much hate, anger, and sadness in his heart, it got him in trouble with the witch. Edmund did commit treachery, but I’m glad Peter acknowledged that maybe he was too hard on him, and it was a factor that drove Edmund away. In the end, they all forgave one another.

Did Judas know that Satan was a devil when he first met him? When Edmund first met the “queen of narnia” he didn’t know she was a dangerous witch at first. Judas betrayed for greed while Edmund betrayed because of a candy that contained enchanting magic. Edmund is based on Judas who betrayed Jesus for silver while Edmund betrayed his siblings for Turkish delight. Unlike Judas, Edmund was already forgiven after he was rescued and apologized to his siblings for his betrayal. Even Aslan said “there is nothing to speak to Edmund about his past”. Couldn't agree more with you. This is such an underrated movie. I love the trilogy!!!
@@LukeFor3ver didn't like the third one too much
@@shaibullard8870 never saw the third one because Peter and Susan weren't in it. I'm sure they weren't in the book either, but still.

@@LukeFor3verI loved this one and the 3rd one
I disliked the 2nd one tho
When lucy hugs edmund he realises that no matter what happens his siblings will never dislike him
@Miller Deacon Thanks!!!
That’s pretty much what family is
yeah lucy calls his name alot in the movie

Lucy was so loving, no matter how her brother Edmund treated her, I loved that in her, and his lesson was learn.

Kinda like Jesus
@@Teemo6544 This is why I can't get into Narnia. It's far too allegorical.
It Also shows the Power of Forgiveness & How it will always overpower Foolish Blunder/Mistakes.

I figured it was soo allegorical w the whole son of Adam, daughter of Eve thing.
"No need to speak to Edmund about what is past," Aslan says.
Peter's thoughts. "I won't speak to him. I'll just glare at him."
If the siblings asked Edmund why he went to the white witch’s place and Edmund answers of Turkish delight...lol
Awww I Love when Edmund and Lucy hugs they look sooooo cuteeeee
Aww it’s so sweet when Lucy and Susan hug Edmund. They realise it wasn’t his fault, he was tricked after all!
He heard enough stories after meeting to know well enough that she’s evil. He was tricked by the first meeting but when he snuck away he knew what he was doing.
I think Lucy and Susan will never dislike him. But I think by telling Edmond to get some sleep shows that Peter is a very caring brother
"and Edmund.. try not to wonder off"
My best part is that Lucy hugs Edmund. So wonderful ❤️💕
Look at Pete's face when Ed isn't looking.. He is so happy so have his brother back, he loves him so much, I'm deceased
Edmund is more loved by his family then he realises
The hugs tho ♥️
How we looks at Peter after Aslain leaves shows how scared of what Peter was going to say to him.
The music in this scene is truly beautiful
Agreed ⭐
Aslan: what’s done is done. There’s no to speak to Edmund of what is past.
Peter: Ed, why did you sell us out for Turkish delights?
He was also manipulated and later full on coerced
@@bradydefelice2944 yeah, that’s true
Peter should very much say sorry to Edmund for being so hard on him.
I think they both can tell that the other is sorry
Older siblings are like that sometimes especially when having to be like a Protector to the other siblings & like a 3rd Parent.

Georgie henly as Lucy pevenise love her
Then he returns to joking around with Ed.
I love you edmund ❤💜😙😘

Aslan represents Jesus the lion of Judah where he forgives Edmund. Edmund did acknowledge his errors.
I love this movie
lucy and susan hugged him was cute
I was Edmund. Thank You, Lord Jesus. 💛
Edmund blames himself for walking away from his brother and sisters. He should apologize to them for it.
No Aslan said don't talk about it, so fuck off.
He apologized through body language
That would be a 2 way Apologize they(Susan/Peter) shouldn’t have made Edmund feel Like Odd one out, Then Ed can Apologize.
If Edmund wasn't repentant, then he wouldn't have been there.

The chronicle of Narnia prince capitan is same
Aslan in translation means lion 🦁
Aslan is the Lion of Judah...... Jesus the king if Kings ❤🎉🙌✨
I have wondered what was said between Ed and Aslan on that hill.
Nobody knows

Peter is like Harry Potter/Ron Weasley
Susan is like Luna Lovegood
Edmund is like Draco Malfoy/Draco Malfloy
Lucy is like Susan Bones
Aslan is like Professor Dumbledore
The White Witch is like Lord Voldemort
No
No what you do mean
Well CS Lewis wrote his story well before jK Rowling.
Except narnia was written way before Harry Potter
Peter look I know he's your little brother but don't be so hard on him and also you should forgive him 🙏🏽

Peter should have apologised for having been a bully.
