Both Woodward and Murtough had massive punchable faces, so i wont be supriced if they have x amount of playtime tied into their contracts.
Arteta faced the revolt of the fans and the journalists who are always looking forward to the sacking of a manager but their owners and the board quickly backed him publicly and once a section of the fanbase realised he ain't going nowhere, they fell in line. At united, owners stay mute and monitor the talks in town and if it looked like the out's are more then they make the decision.

I know it sounds counter-intuitive. But we should be playing a back 5 currently. AWB, Evans, Mainoo. as CB's. AWB and Mainoo while not ideal at CB. They will offer more pace/tenacity and discipline at the back. Evans will have to be vocal and keep them in line. Then have Antony and Dalot as Wing-backs. Dalot tasked to play more defensive out of the two. But both hold the width and get crosses into the box. Track back. Amrabat and Mount as CM's tasked with relentless ball wining and ball progression. Garnacho and Amad as Inside forwards. Garnacho with a free role. Roaming and getting in behind. Amad operating more as a second striker behind Hojlund. Play with no excuses. Play with pace. Play on the counter. Play long balls. High volume of crosses. Feed Hojlund. When not doing all that. Defend and smoother the ball with numbers. Make United be tough to play against!

Ten Hag needs to play defensively unfortunately and is what he should have done at Palace. The fact that he plays so open is a major red flag with a barebones backline.

Arteta even though he wasn’t winning every game, after a couple games you can see what he was trying to achieve. After two years of Erik I still cant see signs of improvement! Gaps in midfield, favouritism in team selection, in game substitutions and management and lack of plan B are all red flags 🚩!

The next four games won't massively impact us the fans our expectations now are extremely low after what we have witnessed this season. However, it will certainly impact the manager, coaches and many of the players come the end of the season. The worse we do the bigger the changes and casualties I feel.
Timber will be our starting Left Back going forward starting next season. I know he can play across the back line and predominantly has been a RB but I don’t see Ben White being dropped.

I think the difference with Arteta there was a clear style of play/ structure that he was trying to play. Ten hag has zero structure to show for to be optimistic about

Let us understand Casemiro is not a CB, so his struggle in that position is understandable. If Darlot partnered up with Evans in the middle, it would be an upgrade over Casemiro in that position. United can win this match. No silly changes to introduce Amrabat and Antony in the last minutes of the match.

This defeatist attitude isn't acceptable. If teams with championship level squads can sometimes get a result against big teams. Then United should definitely be able to beat the odds once in a while. We are bound to concede goals with our lack of personal. Sure. But we should be striving to score more to balance that out. It Should be painfully obvious what ETH needs to do. Thats feed Hojlund! Thats the key for more goals. Thats how we win. Players that don't fall in line and create for their striker shouldn't be playing. Start enforcing that. Then mybe we can start actually playing. I'm done hearing excuse for ETH. There's clearly still things that can be done to increase our chances at winning. But ETH is simply faltering

Mark is really scraping the barrel now, keeping Ten Hag over appointing Tuchel because he's an ex Chelsea manager & we sacked a Dutch manager Van Gaal previously & he was replaced by Mourinho another ex Chelsea manager & look how that worked out. We won more under Mourinho than any manager since Sir Alex FFS.
United was unlucky not to beat Arsenal earlier this season. This is one of the very few games the players will put in the effort really, other than against Liverpool.
