Also, I have seen the Y registered Antar at shows, with its Rolls Royce Eagle conversion.

I have never driven the Antar. However I have driven a Thorneycroft Big Ben. It was a 6x6 army surplus job converted to pull heavy timber. A clever design, the ancillary controls all worked off three little air levers on the right side of the drivers seat.
