JessHasALife I completely agree...I've tried so many mascaras but this is my holy grail. I don't even buy other mascaras anymore (never thought that would ever happen)
Really? I have that to (the Rollerlash) and honestly it smudges so bad on me, I have no idea why really, i hate that because it looks so pretty at the begging then it just all moves, am I doing something wrong? 😭😭
We have to understand, that The Body Shop makeup is more natural and has skincare properties that Wet n Wild or any other drug store products will not have (plus more chemicals). I love their foundation, compact and their liquid lipsticks. The Windsor color is actually a little sheer and not the best color to show. I love the more darker shades. The texture is so different but they are so soft and a non drying formula. Its different but once, you get used to them, they are quite comparable to some of the popular liq. lipsticks. But you have to understand that they are vegetarian lipsticks, which means The Body Shop is using more of a ethical source to make their makeup, but at the end it works. This is why the liquid lipsticks are a different texture but they absolutely are long lasting. I personally have most of the colors. Good review Tati! This is the first time, I am messaging you, but my mom used to love you and she just passed away on Mar 2nd. I really missed watching your video and not being able to discuss with her. xoxo
I thought the review is fair. I love body shop skincare and bath & body, my daily skincare routine is 90% body shop. However, I too can't seem to like their makeup. every time there is a sale, i will purchase 1 makeup item but always disappointed. I mean they are ok, but its quite expensive for an ok product. Much rather go to sephora to buy makeup. The honey bronzer highlighting dome though, its so good!!
Rooney Mara I'm the same. Absolutely love their Vitamin A Oil, The Oils of Life & fragrances... But other then their eyeshadows, I find their make-up no better than like Revlon.
yessss!!! thank you so much for starting off the video bare faced, tati!!! I feel like it's such a spoiler when beauty youtubers start their intro with the product already displayed on the face
I love that you use cheaper products like wet and wild and elf sometimes, and aren't so stuck on just having makeup that most people cannot afford. Thank you, Tati! I love you so much :D
Amelia's Menagerie same. I could only afford high end in the last few years and drugstore is getting so much better than it used to be and it makes me sooooo happy.
my ride or die mascara is the clump crusher by cover girl! Never flakes, doesn't irritate my eyes. Builds up so easy without getting clumpy. And it gives me SO much volume, and length when I build it up.
I personally work at the body shop and seeing this video made me happy. I know I shouldnt be happy about watching someone else tell other people our makeup sucks but the truth is, it does. All of our makeup kinda has potential but isnt really there and for the price we sell it for it really is not worth your time. Very few items of makeup are "worth it" like that little dome, our liquid eyeliner (the packaging kinda looks like kat von d's trooper liner), our clear mascara looking thing and some of the liquid cheek/lip stains. The stains make a nice base for a lipstick or a nice natural looking blush. However, it did surprise me you enjoyed the foundation because many people dislike it, me being one of them. It actually has made me and a few other combination + oily skin typed people, to break out REALLY bad. My managers both have darker skin and also hate how the foundation goes on their skin because it looks really gray and caked on when they apply it. Asides from the makeup, I do hope you enjoy our skin and body care! Thank you for being so awesome and beautiful as always
Charlie yeah i worked at the body shop last year and i never ever recommended our make up to our customers... it was all pretty terrible tbh. i don't even like the lotions either, not very natural, tons of chemicals, not hydrating... the only line i stick by is the hemp line.
Charlie I work at the Body Shop too in the UK, and I think the makeup range is just a little dated, and in need of freshening up, which we are doing through the launch of the contour palettes and soon to come illuminating drops! I think our makeup has a bad rep to be honest, it's got a lot of potential though and I'm excited to see how it evolves over the next few years!
I too work at the body shop, but I personally love the products!! The fresh nude foundation is the best I've ever used and I have oily/combination skin. Lmao it's weird seeing people review products I sell everyday. I agree that the makeup is outdated but they are improving it and focusing more time on makeup
i know this is a tad late but i actually like the body shop foundation. it was really natural. even my boyfriend who hates when i wear makeup said that my skin looked nice and flawless when i had it on.
ok...for Body Shop Makeup...you need to try the original "HONEY BRONZER" it looks like a honey comb print and it comes it three shades...amazing bronzer...and the "Chocolate Box shimmer cubes" is definitely the eyeshadows you should have bought to try...they have eye color sticks that are also amazing(similar to the Laura Mericier and last just as long)...and I know for sure that you would have loved the "Honey Bronzer Tinted Leg Mist" and the "Honey Bronzer Shimmering Dry Oil"....I feel like you didn't try the right cult favorite items from the Body Shop. Oh Yea and for lippie product from the body shop...try the "Colour Crush Lipsticks...super pimented..comfortable and they too are made with Marula Oil....I wish you take some of these disappointing products back and try again....Thanks for all that you share and have a great weekend...Muah!
cindy hamrick I Totally Agree!! I have both the honeycomb bronzer and the Eyeshadow cubes and their Amazing!! I had been hoping to see those products in this video too but hopefully she'll still try them out and share her thoughts with us!!
Im a manager at a The Body Shop in Scotland so have a lot of experience with the makeup. The Drops of Sun is fantastic! I adore it. It gives the most natural (but also buildable) glow to the skin, it is great for adjusting foundation. If you want a matte bronzer you need to try the Honey Bronze bronzer. There is 6 shades to choose from, they've got a great texture and blend beautifully. The lip liner in Clover Pink is also a recommendation of mine if you want that super on trend nudey pink look. I personally love the liquid lips! The more nude shades are lovely on and they are very comfortable on the lips. I have the Velvet Poppy Lip and Cheek stick but only suggest the red shade, it. is. stunning! If you want a matte, comfortable, long wearing lip colour it is your guy! Would NOT wear them on the cheeks though, I don't think they work well for that at all. If you DO want a multi-use lip/cheek product, check out the lip STAINS. They're a super light liquid/gel that blend far easier on the cheeks, they're also easy to build for more colour and come in a far better shade selection. The new Lash Hero mascara is great, gives super natural fluttery lashes and is loaded with conditioning ingredients for the lashes. I hope this helps :) Zoe x
Hey Tati can you do a beginners guide to skincare routine for oily skin? I really want some advice where to look for skincare items, cuz it's been really hit or miss for me, and I've just given up on maintaining a routine altogether. So yeah much appreciate for all that you do. Love
Shady Cleanse, exfoliate (every couple of days) tone, moisturise! Yes even oily skin needs moisture :) My favourite is from Korres, it's the pomegranate one made for oily/combo skin.
Shady i have oily and sensitive skin, when i switched out my skincare with korean brands, i noticed amazing results..most of the korean products i've tried deliver good results and does not irritate my skin.. daily routine is: Oil Cleanser + Gentle Facial Cleanser + Toner + Ampoule + Essence + Moisturizer.. i also exfoliate and use sheet masks 2-3 times a week.. check out The Face Shop, Banila Co., and Etude House. ☺☺
Shady I have oily skin and I highly recommend the Water Bank products from Laniege and the oily skin set (cleanser and toner) from Biotherm! They work really well to moisturize without stripping the oil from your skin, and they end up being quite cheap in comparison to many options that do the same thing.
Grace Hunter I'll bet yours looks gorgeous too. : ) It's easier to have your skin look flawless in front of bright lights. Do you moisturizer your face well and then try an illuminating primer?
Maybe add a drop of oil (like jojoba, argan or almond) to your foundation, and mix on the back of your hand? It seems to be a thing a lot of people with dry skin do.
I've literally never seen anyone request Body Shop makeup in the comments, what I always see, and what I think we'll NEVER get from Tati is a review of the Lush makeup. Anyone with me?
argyletyrannosaurs So weird because I feel like I've been seeing requests for the Body Shop video often and forever! I wonder if UA-cam organizes comments differently. I would absolutely love to see the Lush review, too, though!
So happy that you did Body Shop! I'm not really a fan of their makeup(a tad overpriced) but at least I can get them in my country :( I feel so sad when you find awesome products and it's not available where I am (Malaysia). Anyways it's pretty good, thinking of grabbing the foundation! Oh and please please please do a skincare routine. Maybe a morning one and a night one :)
Huey Ng I get what you mean by it being overpriced but I think it's due to the fact that the body shop is big on fair trade and is environmentally friendly
MsFireFlame28 Since you talked about it being environmentally friendly, they do advertise a lot that it's very natural products. However i don't find it the case. A lot of their body wash etc has so much preservatives and chemicals. Innisfree is so much better.
Can you pls review cosmetics from South Korea? i would like to recommend The Etude House😝this brand is famous in korea!(similar to Toofaced..?maybe..?) its products are very cheap and pretty. also have good quality! i think you and subscribers like them😎
My all-time favorite mascara is the Etude House Lash Perm Curl Fix Mascara! Usually I think that Korean mascaras are pretty mediocre but the Etude House one is bomb. You should try out Japanese mascaras, though--any Kiss Me mascara is great and Majolica Majorca has good ones, too. They are awesome but also can be hard to remove, so use a good eye makeup remover.
The Kiss Me one actually has a mascara remover that you can buy separately or in a set with the mascara. It dissolves whatever it is that's in the mascara that makes it so darn waterproof. If you use it, the Kiss Me mascara is super easy to remove.
oh are they? thats a shame :/ it looked really bomb in the store, i tried their lipsticks and they were good so I wanted to hear her oppinion on other products... maybe I´ll risk it and try the products on my own :)
Moniek Ragovin Try with the Little Black Primer for an even more dramatic effect. It's my favorite primer ever. I also loooove the Sumptuous Knockout mascara.
Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara. The one in the silver bottle. It. Is. My. LIFE. It just gives SO MUCH volume without the huge clumping catastrophe and so much length to the lashes and wears all day without smudging or anything like that AND it can handle a little water or sweat so i can totally work out in it or walk in the rain without worrying about it. It doesn't irritate my eyes or make them watery like some mascaras do. It's seriously the best. The only bad thing is that where i live it costs like 35$ so i can't always afford it... but you seriously need to try that
L'Oreal owns The Body Shop and they're currently trying to sell it off due to poor financial performance. The original founder died 12 years ago and apparently the brand hasn't done well since.
Hoodwinked Beauty I work for the body shop and i can assure you nothing has been decided yet as to the sale of the company. We are stil out own and there isn't many buisness that do what we do. Enrich not exploit.
sophie raymond definitely respect your comment, I'm simply referring to the Forbes and Fortune articles that the company is being marketed for sale due to poor financial performance, that's all.
Mary Ann Balyasny I can tell u from the few i have the big palettes are a bit confusing to me. (i am 48, and seeing up close is rough) But i find it hard to see what shadows are matte or satin. The pods are small. (size of a dime) I just bought Galaxy Chic and it's awesome. lipglossleslie reviewed quite a few of them. I have 2 sets of their brushes and they are made so well. I do need some other brands tho. some of the eye brushes are really big and full which is hard for me. I also bought the contour/blush 2 palette. It's perfect to me. I can't over do it. lol. The shipping is expensive tho. $7.95🤔
Mary Ann Balyasny I've tried several of their products and honestly I've been blown away at the quality especially since they are so affordable. Def worth a try!
The super large palettes from them are alright. Nothing to write home about, but certainly usable and well pigmented. The other eyeshadow palettes are really nice! You can tell with the smaller palettes they had time to spend on getting a good formula down. Haven't tried much aside from their eyeshadow.
I love twenty one pilots more that i love myself Lol. my son saw them in concert twice. lol. Anyway, maybe you could just somehow leave a note on her desk w a few mascara recommendations.
Ex of why I enjoy the comment section so many lovely people making mention of what is their fav products. Idt I've heard anyone speak of Almaty mascara I'm 98% high end only makeup save for a couple mascaras. Yet I've never tried almay mascaras. But I can assure you I'm heading to the drugstore today specifically to pick up several mascaras metioned in today's comment section with the almay one coat being at the top of my list! Btw thank u for being an educator My mom retired after 26 years teaching because she loved it-that was 20 years ago almost and adults come up to her all the time thanking her for loving them and making a difference in their lives (small town life) It's the most important career in society I feel and best regards to you for all you do!
To those saying the products are too expensive, remember that the Body Shop uses fair trade, ethically issued, high quality ingredients in all their products, so of course the prices are going to be higher than at the drug store. I like the fact they are trying to do some good while still selling their products! You should try their skin care stuff Tati, it's amazing :)
Vuitton Smith I don't really care for the brand that much, it is all makeup, but at the same time, I don't see the harm in people rerequesting her review, it actually seemed like they respect her reviews sooo much that they just kept asking on and on.
First- love your channel! I've been a silent viewer for a while. Second- I have had the worst time with mascara, I wear contacts and (maybe that's why) my mascara ALWAYS runs. But I just discovered benefit roller lash and it changed my life. It doesn't run but it also comes off really easily and doesn't stain my lower lash line. It's incredible.
Omg love this video. Brings me back memories for me. Body Shop was the first place I ever bought makeup for my full face for a school ball. I actually loved the makeup I got there at the time.
I would love a video on skin care products for different skin types. I have very dry skin on my face that gets very flaky when I wear foundation so I'm always on the hunt for products to help me with that.
Molly Harms What primer are u using. I like the ELF hydrating one. I also use a fair amount of moisturizer. plus i exfoliate often. dry skin is a pain!!
Molly Harms I have very dry skin too. I use first aid beauty ultra repair cream as my moisturizer, I use argan oil on my face at night, I love the too faced hangover rx primer (so moisturizing) or the first aid beauty coconut moisturizing primer, and I will use a drop of argan oil in my liquid foundation if my skin is looking really rough on a particular day.
I have crazy dry skin and I completely understand what you're saying like how foundation ALWAYS looks cakey and clings to any patches and its just a terrible experience but I have usde L'Oreal infallible pro-glow and its pretty dewey and moisturizing and also sometimes with that one or other foundations I add a facial oil to the foundation and it helps it go on so so sos so so so much smoother and looks more like skin and you definitely have to set it down then but wow the farsali rose gold elixer changed my makeup life. Also 10000000% exfoliating is my best friend. I can't go a day without doing it or else my skin gets gross.
My ride or die mascara is the Maybelline lash sensational. I could go the rest of my life just using this mascara and nobody ever talks about it!! It's very black, doesn't crumble or flake, it keeps your lashes curled, it lengthens lashes, and it doesn't doesn't transfer easily, and it's buildable!! It's fantastic!
They're really good, especially their highlighters, bronzers and liquid lipsticks. 🙌🏻 Not to mention that the packaging will look great in your collection ☺️
Amanda Jade that wasn't one of their good palettes though. Matte Nudes and Trimony are amazing and she's even said the former is good. They have good blushes and bronzers, liquid lipsticks, and many love their highlighters.
+Amanda Jade Tati's also mentioned other palettes and products of theirs as some of her favorites though, so that doesn't really reflect how she feels about the brand as a whole. She used to talk about theBalm a lot when I started watching her a few years back.
Mariah Burkhart The Freeman masks. they have a new apple cider vinegar pack that is so good! the charcoal kind is also amazing as well :) or the Loreal clay masks. The detox one is the best for acne.
Mariah Burkhart I would use the pixi glow tonic. It's an acid exfoliator that you can get at the drugstore it will help with scarring. They also sell differin now at the drugstore it is a retinol that used to be prescription but it is now sold otc I would definitely give that a try. Then find an unscented moisturizer, the differin may dry out your skin, and a gentle cleanser!
Mariah Burkhart you might have sensitive skin! I thought I had acne prone, but turns out I was using too harsh products. But try mario badescu spot treatment, and try some calming masks, i like clay:)
I love how honest you always are about products I trust your advice on makeup because it seems what works for you also works for me as well I love the same foundations and powders!
try to take some of the excess product off, and make sure to brush your lashes out before you put it on. you can try placing it on your roots gently and then building it up to the tips, because thats what i started to do with it and it works good.
I have used the one in the pink tube and lash princess. the one in the pink tube has a humongous wand. i can't use that on my eye shape. I like lash princess. but that's just me.
You should totally try some Korean and Japanese makeup! They're really good and affordable. Try Etude house, innisfree, the face shop, canmake..They're all super affordable and you can purchase them on amazon
BeckJTC pinup cosmetics sells at whole foods n they are 100%vegan of blushes n shadows n mineral fondations.. I love their lavender & grapefruit face serum its awsm for mild acne n dark spots!
Laura.Loveess on my lashes it doesn't transfer at all and it never flakes! I also have really watery eyes and it doesn't smudge on me it's honestly perfect
amethystviolet dreams glad I saw your recommendation! I've been looking for a great inexpensive florally perfume that lasts! Definitely going to look for Pacifica today
I LOVE Pacifica. My only problem is their eyeshadows are really powdery and not as pigmented as I would like. BUT I love their Mascara and skincare products.
A little disappointing... For the amount of requests for this video, it should of been a bomb ass, thorough 1st impressions review that included check-ins. We could tell you weren't excited to do this. I watch you for your honesty... If you weren't feeling the line, you should of just said you weren't and not do it. It's not a big deal! Still love you!!
Am I don't think her heart was into it. I think she just did it to stop everyone from asking her to do it and what she said, how other people were replying to those people.
Flowergirl Oh totally... I would do it too just to shut everyone up! 😂 If she wasn't into it from the very beginning, she could of just said that she wasn't interested. It makes no difference to me. I watch her for her honesty. But anyways... It's done and over with!
ENL I understand, she definitely does ask her viewers to leave suggestions. I don't think she was too into the brand though. Maybe thats why it took her a while to try the products. I don't know, only she does.
Those eye shadow palettes have been around forever!!! My mom bought me and my sister those as a beginner type of makeup when we were tweens and I remember trying to follow the little tutorial picture on the back as best I could😂
Does anyone else just want her to pull her hair back into a bun or ponytail or SOMETHING just to keep her hair out of her face while she applies makeup
My favorite mascara right now is the hourglass caution mascara. It adds insane length. It lasts a good 10-12 hours without touch up. And it will hold a curl without it being waterproof. And it is sweat resistant. But not totally waterproof. It’s fantastic. Dunno if you’ve tried it Tati.
Me too! So affordable! I was hesitant to purchase because I always think good skincare products are pricey! So far everything I have tested is wonderful!
I have a few products. I love the Niacinamide + Zinc serum and Vitamin C serum, but hate the Hyaluronic Acid, broke me out, but my boyfriend didn't have this problem. I think the brans it's worth the hype.
Audrey Natalia I use em too. Not a huge fan of the vit c bc it feels oily but love the hyaluronic acid, the moisturizer is the best I've tried for combo skin, I think those 2 are worth buying esp since they're so cheap. I also bought the retinoid stuff which is good but not something I reach for much. The lactic acid is a good stinky but my skin is sensitive so it can only tolerate it sometimes
Really? I thought the point was to have the space to be creative and passionate about something - make up in Tati's case. Her whole channel doesn't exist just to please other people.
My initial comment was only because there actually were a few of the same people asking for it over and over. There is nothing wrong with making a request in the comments, but my goodness, it was getting seriously annoying to see this same person comment every single video. And yes, it was happening, or are you calling her a liar in her intro??
Apple Ate Of course no! I would NEVER Ca tati a "liar" And Yes you're so right. people used to be so ANNOYING like goddamn it. she will do it soon or lately, dont get me wrong.
my holy grail mascara is maybelline mega plush waterproof. unfortunately i can never find it in black, so i moved on to the big eyes waterproof mascara! i can only use waterproof because otherwise my eyelashes will fall completely flat. maybelline is always my go to!
I like these kind of makeup reviews. no fancy introduction, just straight up to the point. :D most videos i've seen are thode girls take literally 1-2 minutes just posing and batting their eyelashes at the camera..gawddd.
Courtney Addison, they range from 30 to 60 pesos (about 3 dlls), the good ones are; RENOVA (38 pesos) SAN ZUSY (50 pesos) and APPLE (you can find this one at the dollar Store) they are awesome! and they have avocado, and other oils that condition your lashes
RE 10:35 - MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL OMGGGGGGG it's a miracle in a tube
JessHasALife I completely agree...I've tried so many mascaras but this is my holy grail. I don't even buy other mascaras anymore (never thought that would ever happen)
JessHasALife I agree ! The lash sensational makes my lashes so long and voluminous !
JessHasALife yesss that's my favorite too
Nooooo! Agree to disagree! The mascara is fine, the wand is awful! ☹️
I had to throw it out! 😘✌🏼
JessHasALife OMG It is the best!!
My favorite Mascara of all time is Benefit Rollerlash! I love it...it's perfect for a day and night look and it doesn't smudge at all! 💖
I LOVE that one, too :)!
Sara T Me too!!! I wear glasses so don't do falsies and with Rollerlash I don't have to curl my lashes and they are long and beautiful!!
Sara T mine is Theyre real
That's mine too :D
Really? I have that to (the Rollerlash) and honestly it smudges so bad on me, I have no idea why really, i hate that because it looks so pretty at the begging then it just all moves, am I doing something wrong? 😭😭

Rooney Mara .... Tati will appreciate your comment cause you are in the both side of the coin
I think TBS eyeshadows are good...but the lip product sucks :D
Kind of like lush, pretty good skin and body care but makeup is ehh...
Their eyeshadows are awesome! But I can't get into their other makeup products as well, although all my skincare products are theirs
yessss!!! thank you so much for starting off the video bare faced, tati!!! I feel like it's such a spoiler when beauty youtubers start their intro with the product already displayed on the face
c. upton glad I'm not the only one who feels that way lol
Really?? Hmmm gunna take that advice my self for future videos!
c. upton Exactly! I feel like it's a spoiler lol I always skip the start so I don't see haha love it this way!
c. upton Same!
Courtney Addison you could only afford high end? How does that make sense haha
Mazie Wilson I'm pretty sure she means that she has only been able to afford high end products more recently.
my ride or die mascara is the clump crusher by cover girl! Never flakes, doesn't irritate my eyes. Builds up so easy without getting clumpy. And it gives me SO much volume, and length when I build it up.
Roz Beaton love that one also
Roz Beaton yesss I love that one. It also made my eyelashes grow super long! Lol

Favorite Mascara Covergirl Lash Blast (Orange Tube) I try so many mascaras and I always come back to this one : )
MorticiA mine too! I keep trying new mascaras but always go back to that one. If it ain't broke...
MorticiA my mother in law gave me an ipsy bag she didn't want that included it and I love it! on my second tube!
MorticiA Me too!!👍🏻😊
Be careful using waterproof everyday :/
Madison Falco Why?

cindy hamrick same - I really wanted to see her thoughts on the Honey bronzer that I've heard people rave about who are fair skinned
cindy hamrick The Body Shop Honey Bronze comes in 6 shades 😊
I love the Honey Bronzer (the matte one that comes in 5 or 6 shades)
xopinkmoonxo GREAT for (my) fair skin ;) perfect, actually!
Could you do a glossier line review? I'd love to get your take on their products!
Tati , my favorite all-time mascara is the Maybelline Rocket Volum Express. The applicator is amazing, and separates lashes, instead of clumping.

Zoe M YOURE THE MANAGER??
Can you make a video on your absolute favorite high end and drugstore skin care products? Serums, moisturizers, toners, etc. I'd love some new recs.
Not sure if there is already one of those you've made but an updated one would be awesome!
The honey bronzer powder is the best!!! You totally should've used that one instead of the other powder bronzer
Yes! And great options for pale skin.
Mattie Boyd yes! I used to be obsessed with the honey bronzer. I need to start using mine again.
Noooo, use Honey Bronze Bronzer. Totally matte and gorgeous. I think you'll love it! I'm curious about the foundation. :)
Yvonne van der Wal yes and its huge like she wants!!
Yes that bronzer is beautiful!
Yvonne van der Wal I've had the foundation before and it's so amazing. It cleared up my acne and made the rest of my makeup go on beautifully.
Yvonne van der Wal I heard the honey bronzer got discontinued??? Anyone know for sure?
wambi10 Really?! I hope not! 🙁🙁 It's still available in my country. www.thebodyshop.com/nl-nl/body/bronzers/honey-bronze-bronzing-powder/p/p000480
Hello, just passing through on a Tati binge. Don't mind me.
I get on these Tati binges too!! Currently now!!
Hello Arya1999!
Ummm, Idk why that duplicated seconds apart! Hmmm.... 😁😉😂
Lol there were so many comments about this, glad you did it! Now just expect the Lush makeup requests 🙄😂
Kel Hillis lush makeup is actually not bad, but the packaging is hard. i love the gold liner and lip scrubs.
Courtney Addison the lip scrubs are the best !!
I hate the makeup from lush.
rachloves did a review of it if you are looking for one!
I hope she does a lush review!!!
Hey Tati can you do a beginners guide to skincare routine for oily skin? I really want some advice where to look for skincare items, cuz it's been really hit or miss for me, and I've just given up on maintaining a routine altogether. So yeah much appreciate for all that you do. Love
Shady yes!!!!
Tati should make a korean skincare/makeup TESTED video
Shady I have oily skin and I highly recommend the Water Bank products from Laniege and the oily skin set (cleanser and toner) from Biotherm! They work really well to moisturize without stripping the oil from your skin, and they end up being quite cheap in comparison to many options that do the same thing.
Every time a UA-camr puts on their foundation it looks so glowy and liquidy and nice and mine always looks matte and dry and ugly 😒
Magic of fancy lighting equipment tbh
Hi
Grace Hunter I'll bet yours looks gorgeous too. : ) It's easier to have your skin look flawless in front of bright lights. Do you moisturizer your face well and then try an illuminating primer?
Maybe add a drop of oil (like jojoba, argan or almond) to your foundation, and mix on the back of your hand? It seems to be a thing a lot of people with dry skin do.
Grace Hunter i feel you!!! just bought a new foundation tho so hopefully that helps...
Tati PLEASE, PLEASEEE!!! WTF ON WAYNE GOSS BRUSHES!!!! They're fucking expensive but I know they're gonna be good.
Teresa del Ribero Arronte YAAAAAS
I have them and they are softer than angel's wings, i swear. it was THE best splurge i ever allowed myself to make
I'm sure. I wish you were lying because now I want them even more :( hahaha
The Body Shop Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder is the best! It's my favourite bronzer of all the time! Tat, you should try this too)))
Christina Merry yes I was actually most excited to see if she likes it and I was very sad she didnt :(
The same! Since the honey bronzer is a lot of youtubers' favourite. Why didn't she choose that one?
锦川 11 I know!!! plus its big and matte like she wants.
Christina Merry yes thats exactly what I use as well and its amazing since its matte
Would it work with darker skin tones or is it just for white people?
I've literally never seen anyone request Body Shop makeup in the comments, what I always see, and what I think we'll NEVER get from Tati is a review of the Lush makeup. Anyone with me?
argyletyrannosaurs So weird because I feel like I've been seeing requests for the Body Shop video often and forever! I wonder if UA-cam organizes comments differently. I would absolutely love to see the Lush review, too, though!
argyletyrannosaurs I always see requests for body shop makeup
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING TODAY! My sister loves Lush but is iffy about their makeup, would absolutely love if Tati reviewed them
I really want to see her reviewing lush's skin care
argyletyrannosaurs yes that is very true I see a lot for lush makeup but I'm happy with this I guess haha
Huey Ng try lookfantastic website for international shipping of beauty products 😊
Huey Ng I get what you mean by it being overpriced but I think it's due to the fact that the body shop is big on fair trade and is environmentally friendly
Datshana Selvaraja Oh that's incredible!! Thank you!!
MsFireFlame28 I think that's a fair argument :) Thank you for letting me know.
MsFireFlame28 Since you talked about it being environmentally friendly, they do advertise a lot that it's very natural products. However i don't find it the case. A lot of their body wash etc has so much preservatives and chemicals. Innisfree is so much better.
Can you pls review cosmetics from South Korea? i would like to recommend The Etude House😝this brand is famous in korea!(similar to Toofaced..?maybe..?) its products are very cheap and pretty. also have good quality! i think you and subscribers like them😎
I love their face and skin products!
Their lip tints are life
YAAAAS PLEASE👏👏👏
쁘띠지혜 tpormo
Kendall Watson ,
do Korean makeup and skincare next plss! i have some on my own and they're pretty affordable and good!!
Anily Rozario I would love that great suggestion!
Anily Rozario yessss i love korean makeup that would be awesome to see
YES!!! I asked Tati this before too, haha! Kbeauty products are some of the absolute best. She's tried some but I'd love her to try more :)
Mindy Pajor i hate the etude house mascara because its a pain to get off and makes my lashes feel like wires :(
I love Etude's makeup line but sometimes if they ran out of stock, I go with Faceshop. Korean makeups are my to go to.
The Kiss Me one actually has a mascara remover that you can buy separately or in a set with the mascara. It dissolves whatever it is that's in the mascara that makes it so darn waterproof. If you use it, the Kiss Me mascara is super easy to remove.
TATI PLEASE REVIEW INGLOT! ❤❤❤❤
Pauline Profanum it's the best 😍
Pauline Profanum this needs more likes!!! 👍👍 Please Tati
inglot😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
YESSS
Christian Moore ط ذي
Please review the brand Bourjouis cosmetics! That´d be really awesome!
Tch2197 if tati doesnt see this I can tell you the eyeshadows are a w f u l
oh are they? thats a shame :/ it looked really bomb in the store, i tried their lipsticks and they were good so I wanted to hear her oppinion on other products... maybe I´ll risk it and try the products on my own :)
Tch2197 I love there foundations and concealer!
Tch2197 fh
Their bronzer is amazing and smells like chocolate
I am obsessed with the Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara!
Moniek Ragovin Try with the Little Black Primer for an even more dramatic effect. It's my favorite primer ever. I also loooove the Sumptuous Knockout mascara.
yes! best combo!
Moniek Ragovin it can my lashes clumpy sometimes but if i use it the right way i love it:)
Moniek Ragovin it can my lashes clumpy sometimes but if i use it the right way i love it:)
megan hover thanks for the tip! I'll definitely try it
Clinique High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara. The only bad thing is that where i live it costs like 35$ so i can't always afford it... but you seriously need to try that
Iida Hietala Yes! That mascara is amazing!
yeeeeah
Can you do a video on your touch-up "routine"?
Martha W yes!!
Martha W lets like marthas comment so tati sees it
L'Oréal original voluminous mascara.... I think? It's a brown tube with a gold cap. I love the wand and the way it wears! I get it in blackest black
Pamela Giordano I just posted that same one. I've used it since high school off & on. I like the Carbon Black too sometimes.
Jen Olson will
Pamela Giordano she's mentioned that she really likes it
Thank you for reading and listening the comments. Love you Tati !!
L'Oreal owns The Body Shop and they're currently trying to sell it off due to poor financial performance. The original founder died 12 years ago and apparently the brand hasn't done well since.
Hoodwinked Beauty I didn't know that !! I know we lost our store about then!
Hoodwinked Beauty I wish they would sell it. The worst thing Anita Roddick did was sell it to L'Oréal
Hoodwinked Beauty i actually love their stuff more than bath and body works, even the make up and skin care products they're always unique
Can you please test out BH Cosmetics? I heard good things about their eyeshadow palettes.
Mary Ann Balyasny They r awesome! I love Tarte and ABH. BH is awesome. Especially the Carly Bibel palette!
The comment "Please Review LUSH Makeup" has over 1,000 likes, why is THAT not at the top of the "top comments" section? WTF?
Can you do a Clinique makeup test?
Thien An Dang Nguyen yes 100%
Yes, a skincare routine video would be amazing! I would love to see what you use and how (what order) you use them. Love you Tati!
And the best mascara is the Maybelline Full and Soft Mascara! It's so good!
my favorite mascara is the L'Oréal Telescopic.
Destiny Zombie yessss mine too!! I think in general L'Oréal makes good mascaras
Destiny Zombie forever holy grail
@Destiny Zombie I've tried 10 other kinds of mascara but I always go back to Telescopic. It's awesome!
I've recently fallen back in love with the Almay One Coat Thickening mascara. I'm a teacher and it doesn't smudge or transfer at all.
Addison Smith I should tell my teacher about this mascara because she always has mascara smudging under her eyes and.i don't think she notices
Addison Smith I'm a teacher and I use Almay One Coat too
I love twenty one pilots more that i love myself Lol. my son saw them in concert twice.
Btw thank u for being an educator My mom retired after 26 years teaching because she loved it-that was 20 years ago almost and adults come up to her all the time thanking her for loving them and making a difference in their lives (small town life) It's the most important career in society I feel and best regards to you for all you do!
my most favorite mascara is the L'Oreal voluminous one, I'm obsessed with it.
I've never seen a foundation match your skin better than this one!
I'm glad you did this video, just so people can stop asking for it 😂
same
but now they want lush
you know it's her job to test new makeup, I don't know why you're so mad about people requesting makeup testing thing????????????
I mean would y'all rather her just like....not make videos that her fans are interested in? I don't get the logic.
It's incredible.
can you please review the entire makeup line from glossier!!! please!!!
Cesia Alvarez great idea!
Cesia Alvarez OMG YESSSS
Cesia Alvarez YAAAAASSSS!
Cesia Alvarez do it !!!!
You need to try the tarte tartist mascara!! It's amazing and my holy grail!!
YESSS THAT MASCARA IS SOOOO GOOOD!!
AstridMusic I've been eyeing that one I want to try it 😭
H&m makeup please!
(I think their eyeshadows is bomb but i would like to see what you think) :)
Katarina Pedersen she has done that already
Amal Al Mandhari I wouldn't mind an update. That was back in 2015 I think, and they've added a lot more to their line.
Katarina Pedersen she's done this
Katarina Pedersen individual eyeshadows are very good but the palettes ... oh no !!!
even the eyeliner is so good and black i really love it, the Bronzer is another story so nice
Molly Harms yes! and nothing helps me! i need "dry skin help and makeup video" so much!!!
Kayla Stout i am doing all this things and still my skin looks like pergament. i even stopped using any makeup because nothing looks good anymore. 😭
PLEASE REVIEW LUSH MAKEUP
Agreed :)!!
jenna ugh they had lush makeup 😱😱😱😱
jenna ugh racheloves reviewed lush makeup on her channel and she didn't like very much of it.
Lush doesn't even have great makeup...
pleaseee i am dying to know toooo
The body shop honey bronzer is much better! Plus it's matte too 😍
Anna Lui I was just going to comment saying that she needs to try the honeycomb bronzer. I loved mine. ( might have to repurchase very soon)
Can you please do a video on theBalm Cosmetics?
They're really good, especially their highlighters, bronzers and liquid lipsticks. 🙌🏻 Not to mention that the packaging will look great in your collection ☺️
Yes please everyone thumbs up
Rebecca Brown She mentioned one of their pallets in her video of worse pallets.
I like how natural this look is. Very pretty Tati❤
for skin care what to your recommend (drugstore) for acne breakouts. I usually never breakout but have been a lot lately):
Mariah Burkhart try the mint julep mask!
Mariah Burkhart I use cetaphil facewash & it prevents my breakouts. I also spot treat with apple cider vinegar, but it can be drying
I love how honest you always are about products I trust your advice on makeup because it seems what works for you also works for me as well I love the same foundations and powders!
THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤️ You should test makeup from Lush! Love you Tati ❤️
Agreed! And also from Vichy, Ilia & RMS
Audrey Natalia oh I love RMS
+acacm12 me too! Nothing beats that good feeling we feel when we're putting good things on our skin 🙆
My favourite mascara is Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes - it's amazing!
Lara Tiara COMPLETELY AGREE
Lara Tiara Asian makeup?
I think its a british brand?
I actually prefer the bathroom background better
Andrew Johannen i know this is more boring
This isn't the new setting. She's just been filming occasionally in her office!
anyone else think tati has the most calming/soothing voice?? i always get so relaxed watching her videos!
LOREAL TELESCOPIC
Nathaniel Mercado yes!!!!!
Nathaniel Mercado That's the best mascara. Ever.
i bought that mascara bc of carli bybel but it was way too wet and made my lashes stick , is that how it normally is ?
I find if you close your eyes while applying it doesn't do that.
try to take some of the excess product off, and make sure to brush your lashes out before you put it on. you can try placing it on your roots gently and then building it up to the tips, because thats what i started to do with it and it works good.
Yes do a skincare favorites!!
Aaaand one mascara for the rest of my life - Maxfactor Masterpiece Max mascara :)
essences lash princess
Carolyn Ella agrre, best mascara ever, so much better than maybelline, loreal, too faced,dior.... it is awsome!
Carolyn Ella you're right!💥
Carolyn Ella I just bought the Essence "I
I have used the one in the pink tube and lash princess. the one in the pink tube has a humongous wand. i can't use that on my eye shape. I like lash princess. but that's just me.
this transfers on my lid so much 😭😭
You should totally try some Korean and Japanese makeup! They're really good and affordable. Try Etude house, innisfree, the face shop, canmake..They're all super affordable and you can purchase them on amazon
try out the makeup they sell at whole foods
Yes!!!
BeckJTC There is so much that every time i look, it seems so daunting.
BeckJTC pinup cosmetics sells at whole foods n they are 100%vegan of blushes n shadows n mineral fondations.. I love their lavender & grapefruit face serum its awsm for mild acne n dark spots!
They have different brands at every Whole Foods since they source from local makeup makers
yes! I'm down for any kind of natural ingredient makeup review. whole foods one would be awesome! 👍
My fave mascara is the essence lash princess voluminous one!
Carrington CH yaasss that's so good!
Carrington CH It's my favourite, too!! It lifts my lashes a lot, I don't even have to use an eyelash curler!
Carrington CH does it transfer and does it flake or come off weird
Laura.Loveess on my lashes it doesn't transfer at all and it never flakes! I also have really watery eyes and it doesn't smudge on me it's honestly perfect
Yes, it's true. It has the benefits of waterproof mascaras, without being a pain in the butt to remove :D
I love Lancome Hypnose mascara.
Barb Scrase me too!
Barb Scrase +
Barb Scrase grandiose is also great!
Yes it is too.
Love you use alot of brushes I own and your honesty is appreciated. I watch you every morning as I get ready.
Tati can you review Lush makeup?
Agreed :)!! I would love to see that!
Please do a Pacifica hot or not!! I'm trying to get into natural makeup
amethystviolet dreams glad I saw your recommendation! I've been looking for a great inexpensive florally perfume that lasts! Definitely going to look for Pacifica today
Sarah Lauer Their Lilac perfume is my favorite. it actually smells like lilacs!!!!
I love the Pacifica skin care. It's one of the best and not overly expensive.
Check out beauty blogger "Rhian HY"!
Am I agree with you on that.
Am I agreev
Those eye shadow palettes have been around forever!!! My mom bought me and my sister those as a beginner type of makeup when we were tweens and I remember trying to follow the little tutorial picture on the back as best I could😂
Favorite mascara: Benefit Roller Lash
Whitney bailey agreed
Does anyone else just want her to pull her hair back into a bun or ponytail or SOMETHING just to keep her hair out of her face while she applies makeup
Aubrey Lundgren ahhhh anytime I see someone putting foundation on and their hair is down I cringe!!! I've found myself putting my hair up for them
Sometimes when she does, people make fun of her ears :/ Maybe that's why she doesn't? btw, I think that her ears are totally normal.
Arii same but haters are just jealous her ears look fine
I never knew people made fun of her ears. That's horrible!
Aubrey Lundgren YES
I don't think I have ever been this early!! 😍 Love you Tati!!
This quality and set up 😍 yes queen Tati
Tati come set up my videos w your perfect lighting and quality pls 😂😭
The Bobbi Brown 'Smokey Eye Mascara' is probably the best mascara I have ever used!!
Lizzy Grace I completely agree
Lizzy Grace omg, it's amazing!!
😍😍😍😍😍
Agreed!
Lizzy Grace try the Kiko one!!! it's THREE pounds and it's amazing
Tati please review The Ordinary skincare products 💝
Audrey Natalia I've been using them! They are awesome!!
Audrey Natalia but so excited for their serum foundation launch this month!!! Hope she reviews that!!
Can you please do this with buxom? I see everyone talking about their lip products, but never anything else about the full range of makeup.
Haley Hardison I absolutely love their eye shadows. The shimmer ones at least
You are the best!! Kisses from Greece ❤
liza lkk Hi Greece from the US!
Greek squad.
liza lkk Omg I loooovveee Greece... it's my dream to visit Greece💕 you're soo lucky 😬
γειααα
GEIA
i love you tati!!!! from philippines with love!!!!
Cham Orat also from the Philippines 🇵🇭
Estée Lauder mascara and there real by benefit are my all time favourites, they are amazing for lengthening and lifting your lashes x
Urban decay perversion is my all time favourite mascara. I have sensitive eyes with long lashes and it really separates and gives volume, I love it
Oh thank goodness, now people will stop asking her to test body shop in the comments!
Apple Ate Now they're starting to Ask for Lush makeup video.
Really? I thought the point was to have the space to be creative and passionate about something - make up in Tati's case. Her whole channel doesn't exist just to please other people.
i didnt see one single request about body shop.. only lush
Yay really wanted to see this video💙
Thanks for doing it!
my holy grail mascara is maybelline mega plush waterproof. unfortunately i can never find it in black, so i moved on to the big eyes waterproof mascara! i can only use waterproof because otherwise my eyelashes will fall completely flat. maybelline is always my go to!
Yes, to a morning /night beauty routine video!!! I'm always into seeing the routines and products on UA-cam so I can up my own game. xoxox 💙
Never clicked so fast 😂
Aigerim Tlg me too 😄😄
Tati please try asian products like Japanese and Korean for your Asian fans! I really value your thoughts about makeup.
Lots of love from Japan😘
Favorite mascara is definately Mally Beauty Volumizing mascara
Hannah Bupp mine too!
Hannah Bupp It's a brilliant mascara. X
YES PLEASE!!!! ACTUAL SKIN CARE ROUTINE!!!!!! 😭😭😭😭💗💗💗💕💕💕💕💗💗❤️❤️❤️😍😍😭😭😭😭❤️😭❤️😭❤️😭😭
I would be interested in dealing with dry skin. Do you have problems like that?
FINALY!!!😍😍😍
$25 is literally how much drugstore foundations cost here in Australia..... ugh 😤
Jamahla true and that’s cheap lol
Jamahla you should get an American or Canadian to send u a care package,
I can if shipping is reasonable. What brand do u like?
Jamahla yeah in nz it costs around 30 haha
Yeah but aren't American Dollars worth more than Australien? + the long shipping :/
I like these kind of makeup reviews. no fancy introduction, just straight up to the point. :D most videos i've seen are thode girls take literally 1-2 minutes just posing and batting their eyelashes at the camera..gawddd.
Try mexican mascaras, the best EVER!
Ivette Toraño and cheaper than in the US
Ivette Toraño ikr some how the cheaper you choose the better it is
Ivette Toraño tell me more!!!!!
I love the By Apple mascaras. The brush is big so I use disposable spoolies ( I have issues with wands for a long time) but the formula is fantastic.
where is that velor puff from that you used with the powder?
AlishasRadAsPie I want to know too
紅葉セリ I hope you don't mind me butt in but it's from foreverpuff.com 😊
