Every denomination, every church, and every youth fellowship need a Pastor and Pastor Mrs Right.
I can see some communication gap between Bunmi and her prince charming. Considering that he was expecting Bunmi at the orphanage, he should have at least sent a message or given her a call again to ask if she was OK. Bunmi also could not communicate to him that her car broke down and she is stuck on a lonely way, etc. Anyways, maybe God had orchestrated that event to introduce Dr Mike into Bunmi's life and vice versa.

I don’t completely agree with this because you would still be using human wisdom based on God hates divorce. It doesn’t always work out this way. I am not validating divorce but life is not idealistic and it will be false to preach that.
I know many people who attempted to work it out by moving forward and they are miserable even with counselling. Many are wounded.
We need to stop rushing and pushing people into marriage.

David misses sex and knows he can’t just philander. What is preventing him from adultery is the teachings in him. Remember that he strangulated her and nearly killed her? I know his character is not bad but my dad gave us an advice growing up and he was a true christian. He said not to marry a man who starts eating before you. He will be self-centred. I have found it to be true and I noticed that David did that on their first day.
Bishop is about himself and his legacy and there are many like that.
I mentored a girl that was introduced to a boy in church, the family was prominent in their church and quite affluent. This guy had a drug problem that was hidden and the mother was desperately trying to package him for my mentee to marry quickly. The guy beat the girl, broke her nose and the mum claimed her son was under demonic attack. Thank God they weren’t married yet.
I agree with you, she needs a time of separation to ask God for mercy and direction. I think that should also be the prayer of the pastors. God’s ways are not ours.

I think morenike is in the right marriage, God has a way of orchestrating His things, it might not align the way we need it but God's ways are not our ways. The thing might be that David is not yet prepared for what is ahead of Him and met a prepared Morenike, so that's why there is a problem. When He comes to His senses things will align, Morenike says she always has a feeling she will be into ministry, and the way i see it, Dr Mike is still in His field, no movement towards that area. When we follow God, different things turn out different ways. This I believe is one of the reason some Christians are kept in the waiting room, so there would be no much hitch when married
I'm not sure if it's the perfect will, maybe acceptable will. I think the perfect will was Dr. Mike for her but she was impatient so David is like an acceptable will of God "*And do not be conformed to this world , but be transformed by the renewing of your mind , that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."* Romans 12:2

Look beyond the physical, I believe as believers, we are Led by God, and it's not every way man sees as normal, that the Lord uses, each person has a way He is led of the Lord, it can never be in a particular way. Will you tell me all the leadings the Lord has done for you since you knew Him was approved by man and you? Take for example, the way Peter was led in the Bible, was never the way Paul was led, people looking at both would castigate, but each know their path, which is what is most important and followed it,and they all fulfilled purpose and its for God's Glory.
Yes, it is all God's will....but there are levels of God's will: acceptable, good, and perfect. So in the case of Morenike and David, my view is that David might be God's acceptable will for her not the perfect. Again all these levels are God's will in the end, but they are different.

Last Sunday one of the pastors in a certain church that I will not mention preached on homes and marriages encouraging love,forgiveness and submission. This topic ended him in disciplinary action against him. Bishop warned him greatly on preaching such message. Where are we going.May God preserve movies such as this to help children of God. The Bible says "If the foundation be faulty, what can the righteous do"?. This Bible passage is so applicable in this movie. If a foundation is bad, then the entire building on it, structure will be affected, which can lead to collapse. Now Morenike hardly has time for the ladies ministry in the church again, and her whole life is just in not settled.
Morenike's foundation was not weak dear, jx dat in life ie how it is. We walk our very selves to the problems we face. But this too shall pass. Mo

I am sure in real life situation, she may be withdrawn to talking to talking to those sisters that she shared with at the start of the movie. Even her commitment to the things of God has received its own share because of her current situation.
I've been thrilled by the spiritual guidance sister Mo received in this movie. Her pastor, her parents and pastor Right and wife. And I am sincerely praying that pastors and leaders will learn to guide and help brethren even when someone has made a mistake. Other than allowing the devil take over entirely. No love, no communication. God will help us.

One thing I've learnt with God is that His agenda will always prevail over our sentiments in this life...and His agenda is always the best for all. At times it's painful but if we incline to His will no matter what that will is, we will always be happy...if it's God's will that Bunmi and Dr Mike get married and they align themselves in God, they'll marry and not even the friendship between the two ladies will stand in the way. But I believe God will sort the issue of friendship too

Hm. I'm not sure I like the way things are unfolding. Must Dr Mike marry Morenike's best friend? I would prefer him to go for someone else. It really feels somehow. Having said that, perhaps Morenike should forget about Dr Mike. I find it striking that he wasn't bold enough to propose to her when he saw her engaged to David.
Then, point of correction: Morenike never refused to marry Dr Mike. It was Dr Mike that never proposed. I want Morenike to be happy and well cared for. Hmm we thank God for this episode however to get the in depth of what it's all about I mean lessons to be learnt, it's a must watch again. But I'm still blessed and key into how pastor and pastor Mrs Right took the matter to God in an prayers. Each part of this episode has it lesson but aspect of pastor and pastor Mrs got me thinking, that if our pastors in all our churches can do this then the devil is in trouble in all Christian marriages. Cos if christian homes not settle so many things will affected in fulfilling God's purposes.
