Yes, how he handled the situation and how the wife reacted led to the whole problem. Both parties were wrong in that episode, they let a small matter escalate due to anger, pride, even traditions and the enemy used it as a stumbling block. Ultimately, It's never about assigning blame but realizing that through love & forgiveness, peace can reign in marriage.
