Season 2 follows the first responders of Washington, DC. A camera crew is in embedded in fire companies through the city and follows each crew during their 48 hour shift as they fight fires, perform rescues on land and at sea, and assist during medical emergencies. Additionally, we get to know the individual firemen in the company and what the everyday life is for these everyday heroes.

That’s interesting that the truck boss throws a ladder before going in. I think every truck member (except irons team) should quick throw a ladder before going in. My Dept only our driver and outside vent guy throws ladders
