About a month ago, I fell off a large, log at the beach, straight onto a rock, and fractured some vertebrae and my rib. Was distracted by a handsome woman. But my jaw harp was in my back pocket at the time. And bent the trigger. Your lifesaver thanks buddy
I hope you mend well and soon. I broke my tailbone in high school and of all the things I have broken including fracturing my skull, that was by far the most painful. Skull was most serious, but oh my the tailbone hurt.
Subtle gun show going on at :55
Or, if the jaw harp doesn't have a trigger, turn it into a "Daisy Cutter" type jaw harp by adding an extra reed to the top.
I like where you are going there
@@bebbcorpharpery7331 Yeah, the Daisy Cutter has no trigger on the main reed. The extra reed is the trigger.
Great topic Jamie! Not sure if you mentioned it, but a bent trigger can change your key too. Your harp necklace picture got me thinking too. Do you have a safe way to tie a string to your harp for instance, or do you get cases made? I put a string on my Simen Iversen munnharpe once, and it knocked the lamella out of place. I thought it was broken, but i was able to tack the pin block back into place thankfully.
I make cases for my harps and I also loop any tails the customer wants that will fit a necklace string or paracord.
Also true and I think might have referenced it in the video. The straighter it gets in bent the flatter it falls below note. The more recurve bent it gets out of line the sharper it gets.
