I met him at a biker bar called Dukes Garage down in Clearwater that I used to hang out at.. he drank pbr just like I did. He asked where I was from, I told him the quad cities. He asked if I knew who sedlack was(a famous local custom painter) I said that I did. He told me the story of sedlack painting his last bike and helmet. He was very down to earth at that point in his life, we drank 2 or 3 beers together. He shook my hand , said nice talking to ya , and got up and left.
Holy crap Thad that is one of the most awesome things I have herd I would love to have met him he was one of the most I'm doing it my way people I have ever seen love his bravado of well ill give it a go knowing there was a good chance he wouldn't make it on another note went and watched Lita Ford last night and she preformed cherry bomb from the runaways wasn't expecting that was awesome to hear a original member play it live and the old girl still has it singing and guitar even busted out the double axe for close your eyes
@@AdventureTimeRC he was actually extremely nice. Nobody in the bar would talk to him cause they never wanted to bug him. Maybe that’s why he went there, but that particular day he gladly talked my ear off. Side note I met hulk hogan several times and even got to jam with him at an open jam night hosted by one of my friends who he was also friends with. He is a great bass player.. Lita is still a babe, as is Joan.. I’d love to see either of them. I played bass with Lita’s main song writer from the early to mid 80’s Michael Dan.. he used to come into the brewery fro open mic night and play the songs he’d written for different famous musicians. He was about 400 lbs and had to sit in a chair, but man could that dude play and sing.. I met a lot of cool people down in Florida when I lived down there. Sometimes I really miss it. But 2 days after I moved back home I met my wife and that changed everything.. life’s a journey my friend..
@@IowaBudgetRCBashers yes it is I have seen Joan Jet at a small show before she got famous again so was nice and close she is still a force on stage I played guitar for a few years had a blast but picked up rc again and it took over all other hobbies still have a Japanese Strat and a dean finger pickers acoustic but haven't picked them up forever
Wow! Those are in great shape for toys they were basically designed to be slowly destroyed but the worlds most violent creatures... 7 to 12 year old boys!!! LOL I had the stunt cycle way back when and it was a blast!! I still remember the whir noise of winding it up and seeing it launch away in a wobbly wheelie never got old!!
Hi there Brent, wow! When I was very little in the 70’s, I remember having the Evil Knievel Stunt Cycle and the charger, so wish I kept hold of it, rather than giving it to my younger siblings ! Awesome collection. Take care and best wishes 😊😉😁
That's cool. I still have all my EK toys that I got as a kid. I have the bike, van, pickup, chopper and trail bike (black bike). All still in the original boxes with instructions. I always put all my toys back in the boxes after playing with them.
Love the collection Brother! I had just about all the same stuff at one time. All I have now is the super jet cycle. Thanks so much for share'n! Right On 💪
Man, I wish I would of kept some of my Evel Kenevel toys. I had the sky cycle and his stunt bike. Great finds for sure Brent! You’ve got a very nice collection now Bud!
Awesome. I have decent size EK Collection. A lot of 70’s Figures, Stunt Cycles, etc and newer ones. all mint condition. Have a couple sealed sky cycles and Stunt cycle. I need the Tracker and Jet Cycle !!
Nice. I have a decent size EK collection. Started collecting them about 20 yrs ago off and on. They are all in bubble wrap stored away. Need a cool display case to put them.
You think wow $400 is a lot, but what they cost to what they would be in adjusted money to now not that bad. But so good that so much of the collection in one go. Shame needs small parts but they are the first normally to be lost.
