Hey Jen, it’s my first time commenting. I started watching you when I was 19 and had just moved out. I got my bachelors in 2022 at the age of 20 and have been working my butt off the past year and a half! It paid off - I just got accepted to dental school today! Hearing your story of becoming a nurse was so inspiring. Your videos helped me learn how to cook delicious budget meals. i personally do not wear make-up except maybe once or twice a year. My girls watch you tube and tik tok make-up videos and then "practice" on me.

I have watched your channel since you scrapbooked! Yes, I remember those videos as I am scrapbooker and I have my own channel. You are 100% correct, the Internet has changed for sure. I found that if I really watch all of those reports that YT, Facebook, Instragram, etc has given us to drill how good or bad we are, as a human being, you do get into Negative Headspace without evening thinking you are doing it! I had to stop looking at them. I really just want to put my scrapbooking videos and who cares about the views or how many minutes subbies are watching. I am doing it because it is fun, not because of the work it could become!

I’m a messy person too, I just can’t be bothered to clean like a maniac. My mom was like that. I am fairly organized though. It looks like a mess to others but it amazes others that I know where things are.
I do cook my tots in the air fryer. Best way. 14 minutes at 400 degrees.

I love your hair, that was fun to see the makeover, so pretty. I had my hair colored and trimmed a week before my birthday (3 months ago) I should do it again soon, I'm 50, maybe I will worry about grey hair until next birthday. haha
I think you need to just keep being you and make whatever videos you want. I wouldn’t worry about UA-cam metrics. Just keep being yourself. Post when you can and don’t put so much pressure on yourself.
Scooters is the absolute best! It definitely beats Starbucks and Dunkin, I feel it is a lot smoother and less bitter.
I'm an English as a second language teacher at the elementary level and we have been on a "state wide" strike for more than 3 weeks now... no pay and no students! Normally I'm an overachiever but these past weeks wow it is different for sure.

I have heard others same similar that You Tube isn't the same and I feel that's ok too because we need variety - I understand people look up to Mr Beast and how huge he is but I actually don't enjoy Mr Beasts content I find it too full on because I enjoy more lifestyle content videos like you do which is what I also do because I like being a real person on the internet and not always needing to hype myself up!
