Few places combine historical significance and serenity quite like the iconic Shree #Devdeveshwar Temple in Pune does. Perched atop Parvati Hill, this temple was completed under Balaji Baji Rao in 1749, with a gold pinnacle being added in 1760.
The temple complex comprises five different temples where you can pay your respects, as well as a museum where you can examine several artifacts from the Peshwa era. Once you have paid your respects at the temple, you can spend some time at the museum and enjoy a few snacks while taking in spectacular views of the city from the top of the hill.
