Thanks for all the comments everyone and just to put you in the picture…this is just a fun display model (ala ode to Dumble!) NOT a working or production amp. It’s simply to catch the eye and provoke conversation….and play guess the resistor on a late Friday. Heat shrinking caps and resistors is NOT the way forwards…..but y’all know that. 🤘🏼🎸🤘🏼
This is sooooo cool! Revamp brand image. Logo, Fonts and lean towards runes and symbols instead of literal “Viking” make it subtle occult & esoteric 🤘🏻
Heat shrink tubing on all components, thus insulating them to ensure they'll get extra toasty, is not a smart idea. All it does is tell you if someone has been looking at your component values...and really, who cares? Using all black wire was kind of dumb, too. Ever heard of EIA and DIN color coding? It's a really good practice. Not everything has to look like an Apple product inside, nor SHOULD it.
What an dumb idea to heat shrink every component! If they fails it all ends in a _REAL_ mess (fire). I would never ever buy this. You better point with good sound, not with pseudo esoteric blah blah.
Also it makes maintenance a nightmare. Components should be completely readable, preferably with their values pointing upward. That is smart amp design. They do a lot of good things though, that lead dress is sublime. The heat shrinking though is a waste of energy, a solution for a problem that doesn't exist.

I like the mic idea
Please dont heat shrink every single resistor. Ridiculous.

I hope that amp is a marketing model and not an example of the real amp with all the components blacked out.

The brand mark will limit this company
No thanks. Shrink tubing on everything is unbelievably dumb.
