I remember seeing them as well. Did they air in kids channels? Cause I would only watch nick, cartoon network, and Disney. And I'd be surprised if they air those ads on there.
So Ruth Johnson was the former GOP Secretary of State for Michigan from 2011 to 2019...she radiates so much "How do ya do, fellow kids?" energy. And the commercial saying "It's painless!" right after the kangaroo biting her ear was priceless. The bridge at 4:33 is the Mackinac Bridge, which is the only bridge that connects the Lower Peninsula to the Upper Peninsula. Opened in 1957, the 26,372-foot-long (4.995 miles/8.038 km) bridge is the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Western Hemisphere. Before the bridge was open, the only way to cross the Straits of Mackinac was by ferry! The bridge has been envisioned since the 1880s when the Brooklyn Bridge opened, motivating those in Michigan to bridge the gap.

I keep getting ones that use internet slang and memes. I haven't bought chips ahoy ever since they started to air them.

Mike Slocumb is truly the real-life Saul Goodman that we deserve. So the text on the Brazilian Nissin commercial at 8:49 says "Your life is not light, but your noodle is" and the commercial's message makes more sense in that regard...but still very much cursed. Like that turning into a noodle commercial caught me so off guard. I didn't have...that on my 2023 bingo. That Catseye commercial is what you'd get if you asked a Nickelodeon animator to make an intro about the adventures of a cat and their pest control business. And my canon for Roof Seal is that the seal is being held hostage so it could work on people's roofs, and it tries to hide its feelings through constant smiling but gives a hint to the viewers that it needs help.
The girl looks at the open fly, the dad shakes hand, nothing comes out and the mom looks at the daughter shaking her head, daughter is disappointed.
She now knows, he has a light noodle 😂
That "hunting for the big bucks" one was incredible in so many terrible ways. THAT is how you make a cheesy local ad.

I love the little lungs Commercials. They may be cursed, but these are the kind of PSA's I want to see published to try to get the message across that vaping is bad.

I remember when I came across this channel when my anxiety was keeping me awake and distinctly remembered it giving me Scooby-Doo doo vibes and it's become the channel I binge watch now.

So there is apparently was a big battle over the name "The Hammer" in legal circles a few years back (no joke).
Jim "The Texas Hammer" Adler filed a lawsuit against Mike ‘Alabama Hammer’ Slocumb. Slocumb actually used "DC Hammer" for when he's in Washington DC ads. It was a whole thing.
I guess 'The Hammer' is pretty common. We had one here locally where I live in New York state. Jim 'The Hammer' Shapiro. He'd always say 'I may be an S.O.B....but I'm YOUR S.O.B!' sweatily shouting straight at the camera. It was great.
I played that Spider-Man Friend Or Foe game back when I was a kid and it was actually pretty good! It was best played as a co-op game and you could play as Spider-Man and all of his villains and even some other Marvel heroes like Blade and Iron Fist. It was fun to play with another person and having the character designs be largely based on the Sam Raimi trilogy designs was a nice touch.

Animal Fun Fact: That Energizer commerical with MR. NRG is actually a modified version of a North American commercial that featured the Energizer Bunny. This is because in Europe and Australia, Duracell still holds the rights to their pink bunny mascot (whom the Energizer Bunny is a not-so-affectionate parody of).
That hotdog ad plays at our local theater and always horrifies me. Some snack bar ads can be truly unhinged.
I'm a little sad no one recognises Amy Sedaris. Chad calling her a Karen felt bad. Her voice is well known for playing Princess Carolyn on BoJack and she starred on the Amazing strangers with Candy. Granted she's unrecognisable in both roles.

about the drones, I think Energizer batteries wouldn't even last long considering the drones' power consumption.
I remember Roof Seal! It’s kinda nostalgic to me. It’s both cursed and charming at the same time. Strangely in primary school I had a hyperfixation on that ad because I thought it was fricking hilarious.

The one about the guy’s fly being unzipped reminds me of an urban legend. This guy’s girlfriend invited him to her parents’ house for dinner, and there was so much delicious food that he unbuttoned and unzipped his fly to relieve the pressure on his waist from overeating. After the meal he managed to button and zip up again. His girlfriend excused herself, and he thought he’d be a gentleman and escort her from the table. When he tried, however, the tablecloth and everything on it started to come off the table. Why? He had accidentally zipped the tablecloth into his fly.
Oof, how embarrassing…. At least he was trying to be a gentleman!

Just putting this here, those Naruto toys were slicing through rice paper. It said so on the commercials disclaimer. I'd absolutely love to see what kind of dark magic would allow those toys to slice through cloth though lmfao

The "Karen" in the Vanity Fair napkins commercial is actually an Amy. Specifically, Amy Sedaris, who was in shows like Strangers with Candy and BoJack Horseman.
