Hoping you can help. I have one product in a standard shopping campaign with 5 items. It's the same product just in different colours but one colour gets the majority of clicks and sales. The conversion rate on that product is low but the conversion cost is high. I'm thinking of splitting it out into a separate campaign, would you recommend moving the other less popular colours into their own campaign and keeping the more popular one to retain the data. Or putting the more popular item into a new performance max campaign on it's own?

When restructuring asset groups, should I keep the asset group that works best in the existing campaign which has over a year's worth of data?
Should I start from scratch and lose the data accumulated in the existing campaign?

I have a question about changes in performance max campaigns. Can such changes affect the campaign in a bad way? I've noticed when I added search terms, a campaign performed better. But when I added some budget, it was totally broken after. I am afraid that such changes like adding search terms, audiences and assets altogether harm my campaign.

Hi Aaron, I have been reviewing my Pmax campaigns setum by my management agency and i have the some products split across 2 Pmax campaigns. Should i be concerned? I have the standard product type Pmax campaign then i have a low performing campaign tht includes some of the same products? seems a strange setup
It's worth investigating. Having the same products in multiple Performance Max campaigns may lead to internal competition. Assess the performance of each campaign and consider consolidating or optimizing.

Let me pitch in, since Im spending 200k on google a year on my projects. I dont think there is a difference in terms of search vs pmax on following googles policies. So if you're ok with search, you should be ok with pmax too. You can always ask this question to google directly via live chat. I dont use search campaigns anymore, because pmax gives me 3x more for my money compared to search, so I suggest you try it too. It takes quite a bit of money and time before the camapign learns, so be prepared to spend money for a few weeks with 0 sales, but after that it will perform much better than search

@@mirahsan2 when ever browsing in google maps, some brands appears with square logo, and also small businesses appears as square box with grey color.
Currently i am using search ads and with location assets. Now My ad appear in maps when we search keyword.
But those square box ads appears without any search. That mean when we are looking near by its location.
