He's the best guitar player so far among the newer generation..I have not seen any young guitarist with his talent. Another great guitarist from Down Under.
Although borrowing from Tommy's Emmanuel's version, Joe plays a nice arrangement of his own. Hey, we all borrow from the greats so give the kid a break! I am glad to see someone so young play music at a mature level. I'd say Joe is going to be one of the greats in his own right. 👍🏼🎶
what?!??!? what is wrong with you you've obviously never taken drugs and tryed to play guitar..... lets hope he does so his music becomes more amazing than it already is..
Ah, well I didn't see the rest of the set. Tommy took plenty of Jerry Reed, Beatles and Atkins tunes though and made them his. Yes, Robinson is playing Tommy's arrangement but he did add a lot of his own flair in there as well. Personally I don't mind that, although I suppose he could have mentioned where he learnt it from, the way Tommy often does.
truee. and i understand his success bc he is an unbelievable player, but i mean tommy had his own unique style while taking influence from many people whereas joe is completely like a carbon copy of tommy.. but i mean if hes gonna copy someone, at least he copied from the best lol

Very nice guitar playing. The drummer needs a little attention. He's not only a little drunk, he leave's the stage a lot of time's. Toilet? :)
That guitar was pregnant when he finished.

All musicians play each others stuff. It's always been like that. Blue Moon isn't by Tommy either.

Well, you haven’t seen much of Joe then. Here is a very recent example of him jamming with Eric Johnson... ua-cam.com/video/Diy3o4380C4/v-deo.html
