I had one like this is 1986. I even remember the reg. B933ATG. It went like a bullet up to just under sixty but the brakes, lights, tyres and overall toylike dimensions meant I couldn't wait to get a real bike, a, err .. 250 superdream!
Dude I have silver one with the classic Honda logo from late 80s the eagle wing logo I learned how ride with that Honda few years ago still works flawlessly it was left behind in a garrage for more than 5 years and it’s older than me 🔥
I had one back in 2003 because my Honda C90 got stolen. I needed a cheap bike and a 1980 W-reg Honda H100A was available for £195. I was intending to use it for a year and then scrap it. The more I rode it, the more I loved it and then I decided to restore it. I was surprised that a bike from 1980 had electronic ignition as standard. This old bike never let me down although I found the fuel consumption at 58mpg to be a bit excessive.
Sorry to add to this, yes it is ony a 10hp 100cc bike, but off the lights it can take a lot of car drivers by surprise and by doing that it can take control of the lane it wants , so turning right is no issue..I have no idea why the issuer of this video says its awful, it is not..It is a quick bike for a 100cc machine, cruise at 60 ..I have done Cardiff to Torquay on this machine and back many a time...it will pick up speed quicker than an RD 125 and they are good bikes
I bought a new one in 1990 - my first brand new vehicle. I can't believe it was my only mode of transport for an entire year. The Irish weather really punishes everyday riders with no other option so I sold it and got a lovely red 1981 Mini 1000 HL. Felt like a Rolls after that bike. Brakes were useless on that Honda and it did not cope with hills or strong headwinds very well. Now I have a bike with over 200bph (S1000RR) but that is only a fancy toy to take out on nice days if I feel like it.
Had one in 1990, black with the blue and white pin stripe tank and side panels. Fun little stop gap from the 50cc i had been riding. Think i blew it up 😦 Replaced by ns125r in 91 (crashed numerous times).
just picked 2 of these bikes today , and both will be getting restored , ill post a vid monday, top tip do away with the oil pump , and do a direct mix in the petrol, the pumps have a habit of failing , great vid man

My First Bike. Absolutely loved it. Good acceleration, reliable, started easily, very maneuverable. A perfect learners bike.

they used to do 57mph on unleaded and about 63-65mph on 4 star. My first bike was a H100a back in 1989!!!

The pumps are usually reliable. Never had one fail in all the years I've owned two-strokes. People don't set them up correctly.
I did my CBT back in 1996 on one of these, I wouldn’t mind getting my hands on one of these again for that smoky 2 stroke experience again.
I'm about to put mine on Ebay! 1984.
@@foreversingle1975 you aren't still looking to sell are you? I might be trying to buy one for the summer
Check the sync on the carb for two stroke oil ❤️

H100 tend not to seize. I've had a few two-strokes over the years and a few have seized but even an H100 I had was even starved of oil and still ran!
