This is early Gojira - very raw and percussive. Their sound really evolved on From Mars to Sirius. Also good to keep in mind that as a French band, not all of the lyrics translate perfectly into English, so some interesting/unique word patterns are the result.
Byjxne sorry, that wasn’t my point but I didn’t express it well. I believe he writes in English, but as his second language he sometimes phrases things differently than many native English speakers would.
Oh yeah.. It's hitting different now isn't it, lol.... Gojira is distinct. You are guaranteed to love at least 4 songs per album and more than that if you are a fan.. In my eyes they can do no wrong. They have songs that I play less, but not because they are bad songs, only because I like the other ones better. They resonate on a soul level I believe and some things hit you according to what you are currently going through. Anyhow, enjoy the band.. they are FIRE!
